With a full kitchen, large deck, and open floor plan, this cabin offers everything you need to have an amazing Lake Tahoe vacation with your loved ones!

The Space:
This Lake Tahoe A-Frame cabin has an updated vintage style designed for good old-school family fun in the mountains. Nestled in a quiet area amongst the pines, the open and social downstairs provides the perfect environment for staying connected to your group and the large wrap-around deck offers additional space for your group to spread out and enjoy the nature of the area. And with the four comfortable bedrooms all upstairs the home layout offers great separation of sleeping and living space allowing for a good night’s sleep.

When you enter the home you will be welcomed by the bright and inviting living room, dining room, and kitchen. This space features exposed ceilings with wood beams, large windows throughout the space, and charming cabin details such as the wood fireplace and rustic decor. In the living room, you will find a comfortable large couch to curl up on as you warm up by the vintage wood fireplace or enjoy a movie on the mounted 42” Smart TV. From this space, you can access the wrap-around deck where you will find plenty of seating with a picnic table and outdoor patio set, a propane BBQ, and bistro lights facing open space and majestic pines.

Connected to the living room is the dining area where you will find a large wood table with seating for 8 so your whole group can enjoy a meal together while enjoying the views out the large sliding patio doors. Or enjoy a family game night in this social space with one of the many games you will find in the home. On the other end of the open space, the fully equipped kitchen is located where you will find everything you need to cook a great meal with your friends and family. The kitchen features a full range of appliances, ample counter and cabinet space, and a kitchen bar with seating for 2. Conveniently located on the main level is a full bathroom featuring a single-sink vanity and a shower/bathtub combo.

When you are ready to settle in for the night you will find the four thoughtfully designed bedrooms located on the upper level of the home. To reach the upstairs guests will need to climb an open spiral staircase, please be aware that this staircase is not safe for children under 5 to climb on their own. Upstairs you will find three bedrooms with queen beds and storage space for personal items, with one bedroom featuring a smart TV atop a dresser. The fourth bedroom is set up as a bunk room with two twin-over-twin bunk beds and a mounted smart TV. Please note that the bunk beds are only suitable for individuals under 75lbs making it a great room for children but not suitable for adults. The upstairs is rounded out by a full bathroom with a single-sink vanity and a shower.

Guests will also have access to a laundry space featuring a washer and dryer making it convenient to clean up while on vacation.

The Neighborhood:
This home is situated on a quiet forested street less than 10 minutes from Tahoe City and steps away from beautiful outdoor recreation areas. Just a short walk 1/2 mile walk down the street will take you to the public access of the popular outdoor recreation area Paige Meadows where you will find great year-round trails for all adventure levels in the National Forest. This area is also dog friendly with no leashes required. Renting this home gives you access to the private beach/park Tahoe Park on Lake Tahoe. This beach is only a 5-minute drive away where you can enjoy the pebble beach, grassy lawns, children’s play area, swimming spots, BBQ areas, and more! The famous Sunnyside Resort is right next to Tahoe Park where you can have a great meal or rent any type of watercraft imaginable. In the winter months, you are less than a 25-minute drive to Palisades Tahoe Ski Resorts and Alpine Meadows Ski Resort, and a 10-minute drive to Homewood Ski Resort. If XC skiing, snowshoeing, or snowmobiling is more your thing, Paige Meadows has a great year-round trail system. For those in your group looking for a little less outdoor time, Tahoe city is less than a 10-minute drive where you will find many cute boutique shops, a wide variety of bars and restaurants, farmers markets, live music, and a big sandy beach with a great park and lakeside walkway. This North Lake Tahoe gem has everything you need to have an amazing Lake Tahoe Vacation.

Getting Around:
The home is not within walking distance of the public transportation TART with the closest stop 1.5 miles from the home. This stop is on the Mainline and is stop Hwy 89 at Pine Ave which runs every hour. Take advantage of the home's close driving proximity to Tahoe City and make the short 10-minute drive where you can use the FREE park and ride to reach locations such as Olympic Park and Northstar California Resort. With HWY 89 just minutes away, you can easily make day trips to many of the stunning surrounding areas located around Tahoe City.

Tahoe has UBER, Lyft, and many taxi companies.

Other Things to Note:
Please note that like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C. However, there are fans located in every room.

If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions.

If you are renting this home from April until the first snowfall there are NO fires allowed in Lake Tahoe.
