You will fall in love with this peaceful retreat. This home comes with a 6 person golf cart. You will love zooming around the island on the golf carts, window shopping at all of the gorgeous real estate. This unit is within walking distance to the beach, you will love being able to walk back and forth to the beach quickly! The backyard has a 12 x 20 heated, saltwater pool. You will love lounging by the pool under the palm trees. We also have a turfed backyard and bag toss game as well as board games inside. In the evenings, you will love dining in the screened in, covered lanai to experience true Florida living. Anna Maria Island is truly a magical place! Typically there are 2 golf carts there but only 1 is guaranteed to be there.

The space: relax with the whole family at this newly renovated duplex offering 2 separate living spaces! Perfect for multiple families or traveling with extended family! The upstairs unit has 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths. It contains a master bedroom with a king bed and an attached full bathroom. There is an additional half bath off of the living room. The downstairs unit is 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths. There is a large, outdoor, screened in lanai that is so relaxing to lounge in at night. You will love watching TV out there or playing card games in a bug free environment while listening to the waves crash.

The closest airports to the property are sarasota/bradenton international airport, st pete/clearwater international airport, tampa international airport, and peter o. knight airport. From the airport, you can take an uber or car service to the house, or rent a car. A car rental is not needed unless you plan to leave the island. There is a grocery store on the island. The golf carts are not allowed over the bridges or on Longboat Key. If you don't fee like driving, there is a free trolley that runs up and down the island from 6 AM - 10 PM and visits each stop every 20 minutes. We have a stop very close to the house. Download the "myStop" app and select Manatee county at the transit authority. Here you will see the trolley stops and live updates.

Great place for a friends gathering.

The house is beautiful, plenty of room. 4 minute walk to the beach. The pool area is gorgeous and plenty of room to relax. We will definitely be returning again.

Excellent Property

Property was as advertised. Clean, close to the beach, restaurants, etc. Plenty of room for our family and friend group of 10. The golf carts are an excellent perk to the property and make it convenient for moving around the island. Communication with the host was top notch. 10/19 stay for us. Would definitely recommend and rent again.

Great Family Vacation

We truly had a wonderful vacation staying at this property. We had a large crowd and having two separate living areas was ideal. We loved the pool and having the golf carts was an added bonus for getting around. Thank you for sharing such a special place with our family.

Perfect vacation home

This property was everything you could ask for! Large yard and pool with plenty of room for our group of 10 people with room to spare. Easy 3 minute walk to the beach and the golf carts made it perfect for our group to get around the island. Our host made check in easy and was very responsive !

Excellent, fun property

We loved our over/under duplex. It was clean, modern, well equipped and perfectly described in the listing. The beds were comfortable and the showers/bathrooms were excellent. The duplex came with a generous allotment of essential supplies such as laundry soap, dishwasher soap, paper towels, to and dish soap. The pool was one of the highlights for young and old. The beach was an easy two block walk and the duplex came supplied with all sorts of beach supplies including beach towels, umbrellas, sand toys, beach chairs and wagons for transporting everything to the beach. The owner, Tayler, is an excellent communicator and very responsive to any of our questions and needs. We would.very much consider staying here again for our holiday vacation.

Perfect for families

Great location and perfect set up for traveling with family. Golf carts were wonderful and made getting around the island easy and fun. Two short blocks to the beach and a few blocks from a playground.

Great home

Taylar’s home was perfect for our family. It was clean and ready for us on arrival. Taylar communicated with us before and during our trip. We loved the private pool. The beach was a very short walk from the house, but the golf carts really came in handy for getting our stuff to and from the beach. We actually used the golf carts for getting around the island most of the time. We plan to return to Taylar’s place again.

Great property for big group and great location

The property is centrally located and worked out great for 10 adults. The pool is amazing. Owner is very responsive. They just ordered new all weather Cornhole boards and our group loved them. No need to rent a car here the 2 golf carts are all we needed. The cupboards are well stocked and so is the shed full of beach gear and the wagons to haul the gear.

Perfect Accommodations

The entire duplex is perfect for a large group. The listing pictures are accurate and we couldn’t be more satisfied. Great too for our pooches. The location is within walking distance to the beach. The pool is heated and made for a nice end to a beach day. The golf carts are an added bonus!!!! So much fun!!! Also, the host quickly responded to questions. We will stay here again!!!

Had the best time!

The property was clean and honestly you don’t need to bring anything the host had a very well stocked house with everything we needed for cooking meals and drinks!! This may seem like a simple thing but even paper goods were supplied, paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags! We did have 10 people so of course we purchased more, however this was great to not have to worry that we would need to run to get necessities right away! It was nice having the golf carts to get around the island! Also the pool was wonderful to hang out in after the beach and especially for the kids!! Overall it was a great experience and went way too fast!! There was plenty of room for the 10 of us!! We loved the island and will be back!!!

Great location for a beautiful property.

Taylor was an amazing host! The backyard is one of the best features of this place. It was a great place to hang out and connect around the pool. The property being split into 2 units was great for our family get together. Our kids loved the hammock out front and the heated pool. Having the golf carts to get around really added to the island feel and were enjoyed by all. I can't express how grateful I am for such an accommodating experience on such short notice! Thanks again and if we find our selves in AMI we will be back again.

Wonderful Beach Retreat for 12

Great clean home for our extended family reunion. Awesome pool for our young kids. Good communication with Taylar. She went above and beyond to ensure we had 2 good working golf carts for the duration of our trip. She takes the reviews to heart and purchased a new gas grill recently which we put to good use a couple times during our stay. Handyman was sent over same day to do a couple minor repairs. Recommend refreshing the beach shed to allow for more organization and ease of pulling things in and out. Toys could use a refresh as well. We didn’t use too many items in there, just the 2 beach chairs at the top of the heap. Overall highly recommend! Would love to rent again next time we’re in the area!

Amazing property/location

Taylar's house was absolutely perfect for our group & stay on Anna Maria Island. We loved the heated pool and separated living spaces. We spent most of our time hanging out in the upstairs unit as there was a bit more living space, but the downstairs unit had everything we needed as well. Taylar was very responsive and even let us check in early & check out late to work around our flight schedules. The location is perfect, being a little closer to Bridge Street. Walking distance to a lot of shops/restaurants and steps from the beach and the canal, but the golf carts were an added bonus if we didn't have a rental car. We spent a lot of time in the screened in porch in the mornings. Refreshing to show up to a property and see enough real beds for the number of guests listed. There is sleeping space for 12 in actual beds. (1) King bed and (1) queen bed in the upstairs unit with (2) queens and the (2) bunk beds in the downstairs unit. No surprises with this property, everything listed on the website description was accurate and we were very pleased with our stay. I will definitely be coming back to Taylar's property for our next trip to Anna Maria Island if possible!

Perfect for multiple families!

We had an amazing stay at Taylor's house! We had two families, so we loved that there was an upstairs unit and a downstairs unit. The upstairs unit has a larger eating area and kitchen, so that was our hangout spot. They are two completely different units with no indoor access to the different floors. Things we loved: - The location was perfect!! We were so close to so much, within walking distance to both the bay and the beach. - The two golf carts were amazing! This was our first time using them to get around, and it was incredible. Our kids loved it and it just added to the island feel. They both worked great! - Taylor was super responsive to any questions we had leading up to the trip and also during our stay. - The beach cart and toys were great. We used them a couple of times when we went to the beach close to the house. - We also really enjoyed the pool and the pool lights. Most of the time our kids swam was in the evening due to the August heat, so the lights definitely made that possible and lots of fun! - Also a tip for families and getting groceries....Walmart in Bradenton delivers to the house. It was so great to not have to go shopping for food after arriving and a long day of flying/travel.

Great location!!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We rented both units which worked well for our extended family. There were a few minor mishaps. When we arrived the internet was not working nor the cable. My husband spent about 4 hours working with the cable company to get it fixed. The accommodations were good but could’ve have been excellent with a little more attention to detail. We lacked dish towels and wash cloths. The upper unit was very cohesive and well stocked. The lower unit was less cohesive and was a bit of a mishmash of items in the kitchen. The last item we had to address was the BBQ grill. It had not been maintained and was truly a mess. Even with our attempts to clean it we were not comfortable using it. We shared our concerns with the owner and she was very apologetic. With a few tweaks and a little attention to detail this could be a five star stay. We would stay again if the issues above were addressed.

Comfy and great location

Absolutely wonderful and exactly as described in the listing. This duplex worked out perfect for two families which provided privacy for all. Contactless checkin was a breeze. This property was well maintained as well as the heated pool. With the cooler temps over Christmas the heated pool worked out great for our children. The beach was a short walk and the two electric golf carts that were provided was an added bonus. Taylar was a wonderful host!
