This is Such a beautiful home away from home . Everything was more than enough to make our family feel at home . So many crab friends ,excellent for if you’re looking to fish or go crab catching (they are everywhere ) nice little game room . Plenty of spacious room to suit everyone . We truly enjoyed this home during our stay and highly recommend.
This property was so classy. Beautifully decorated with style.
Love the view and easy access to the water for kayaking or fishing. Our Teenage Grandson caught various kinds of fish.
It was a wonderful, safe and relaxing time, despite the heat.
Easy to find many places to visit, eat or shop. House was well stocked with more than the things we needed. We were all pleasantly surprised.
Only wish the shower and bidet had instructions for us older folks. The decorating was so classy and a warm sense of home.
Thank you, Danielle, for opening up your home, what a treasure in the area.
We stayed here with our adult children and grandchildren ranging from 2-12. The house is beautiful and very well appointed. The kitchen had every item we could have needed. Our kids are still talking about the bathrooms!
I loved the water view off the back patio and our sons and grandson loved fishing right from the boat dock. If you like to watch the birds this is a great location also.
This is the first rental that I entered where I wasn’t met with a big book of what we weren’t supposed to do. Instead the owner made us feel welcomed into their home and it was such a nice change. There are helpful hints throughout the house that were very well thought out but we were not bombarded like we have been at other places. Truly a wonderful owner.
The location to Jekyll Island and St Simons Island couldn’t be more perfect. This was our first trip to St Simons and we are already planning for the next. I love Georgia and have stayed in multiple areas - this is one we are definitely coming back to.
Four couples stayed at this location for the GSGA golf tournament. The ladies shopped, had lunch, and viewed some tourist spots in the area while the men played in the tournament.
This home beautiful and newly renovated. Each of the rooms had plenty of open space. The kitchen and bathrooms nice with all brand-new appliances and fixtures. One couple did have to sleep in the trundle- beds but found them to be very comfortable. The view of the river and marshes are beautiful from the living room and both upper and lower decks.
The private dock is the top feature of the house. We did not boat or fish, but that would be a nice place to stage that from. We used the dock patio for nice happy hour sessions above the river surrounded by the marsh.
If available, we will definitely stay there again next year when we return to the area for our annual trip!
This property had all the amenities my family needed for an enjoyable stay during our annual post Christmas get together. The location was perfect for access to Jekyll Island and all the outdoor activities it offers. The late December weather was perfect for long bike rides. Check in was easy and the property manager worked with us to accommodate the canine members of the family who joined us.
In town for a wedding at Crane Cottage and wanted have a place to stay with our kids. This house is perfect, well kept and in a great area to stay close to Jekyll without getting on the island. Will definitely stay again when in the area!
The property was very well thought out when it was built. The interior was updated with real nice appliances. The outdoors stairs were a slight challenge for elderly visitors but I understand why the stairs exist. We really loved the dock access to fancy Bluff creek. The crabbing and fishing was beyond my expectations. We would highly recommend this property to others that seek a getaway while in the Brunswick area and we will most likely visit again.
We had fabulous stay at this rental. Plenty of room and a well stocked kitchen. The furnishings were beautiful and all rooms were spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed grilling and dining on the deck with a view of the marsh. The game room and bicycles were nice amenities. Easy drives to Jekyll, Brunswick, and St. Simons. Host communication was excellent.
We did not use the kayaks because we were concerned about the currents in the marsh when the tide was coming in and out. There never seemed to be a time when we were at the house that the waters were calm.
Our only complaints were related to nature and not the rental itself. At low tide, there is a rather strong odor outside, and quite a bit of the marsh behind the house turns into a mud pit. That all disappears when the tide is up, though, and should no way discourage anyone from booking this home.
My family and I really enjoyed this home. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Outside of its natural beauty and beautiful decor, the home offered an opportunity for family bonding through kayaking, fishing, and playing ping pong. This home gets 5 stars from me!!!!
Property was a great location, easy to get to and from all the area attractions. The house was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Would definitely book again if ever back in the area for vacation with my Family. Our dog Kirby made himself right at home too, especially on the large upper sun deck.
Our stay was absolutely fabulous! Thank you Danielle for being such a great host. The house was very spacious and had plenty of room for extended family to stay with us for an out of town wedding. The home was very clean, and was well equipped with anything we were to need such as extra sheets, pillows, blankets and a full kitchen. The view was fabulous- we wished we had more time to spend on the dock/out on the water in the kayaks and paddle boards that were also at the house. We talked about staying here again for a weekend getaway to hangout on St Simons/Jekyll island! Thanks again for such a great stay!
Our three night stay with was jammed packed with activities. We fished, crabbed, kayaked and cooked together at the house and explored Jekyl Island during the day. It was s wonderful experien
This home was perfect for us. Great proximity to Jekyll Island and golf courses, neat and well-kept. It is also very spacious and airy; you can tell the owners spent time thinking through how people would live in and use the space. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the area. We also really enjoyed hopping over to downtown Brunswick to enjoy some great restaurants: Reid's Apothecary and Indigo Coastal Shanty.
We absolutely loved our stay here! We’ve stayed in several different homes when we’ve been on trips and this one definitely was one of the best. Danielle is a wonderful host and her attention to even the smallest details in the house are so appreciated. She made sure that her guests don’t have a need for anything & is well taken care of. House is very spacious, super clean and super up to date & modern.
Perfect place to stay for a beautiful views and close to Jekyll Island. We were in town for a golf event which took us Sapelo, Jekyll, and Sanctuary Cove. The home was perfect with some cool features. Would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful time with our family of 7 and lab. We’ve stayed in many places that were “pet friendly”, but you could always tell that dogs have been there, not this house! It was especially clean! Lots of space to spread out, extra sheets clearly labeled in a closet, nice laundry room, the kitchen even had a citrus squeezer in the utensil drawer! The cats outside are like the house mascots and our kids spent most of their time at the house playing with them. Even our dog did not mind them! Very conveniently located to Jekyll and St Simons. To catch bigger waves with clear water we traveled about and hour to Fernandina Beach, FL. Overall, most excellent experience! Highly recommend!
I had my 50th birthday here. It was a great getaway, close to Saint Simon and Jekyll Island.
The guys enjoyed the dock and fished at every opportunity they could. The gals enjoyed the sun deck and the open kitchen for gathering. I would definitely stay here again. We all loved our friendly neighborhood kitty, we name Tilty.
Tucked away back with the Cypress trees, gives you the quiet and secluded feeling, this cute place will take care of your every need. Fishing off the back dock, to laying out on the spacious back deck. We didn’t use the game room, as we brought an Oculus 2, and the living room size was perfect for. The neighbors little black kitty we named Felix while there, was the cutest thing. He showed up everyday for his cats meow kibble, which we left at the house for the next guest.
