House was clean, didn't realize that 2 of the bedrooms were downstairs, I must of have missed that in the listing. The people upstairs were very noisy, going up and down the stairs and walking around. The host was very nice, there wasn't a cookie sheets in the kitchen for breakfast, so she went and bought one along with paper towels and non-stick spray for our cinnamon rolls.
It was a very pleasant stay for this one. I’m the type of person that cannot sleep if anything feels dirty or insecure, this was not the case, the house itself was very clean, very easy process overall, really, my friends and I really enjoyed our stay. Also the host is very responsive and accommodating. Definitely recommend this listing.

Maybe I expected to much?
Host just not prepared for our stay. No extra supplies 1 trash bag for a 4 night stay of 6 people no extra of anything Ants in the Kitchen during our whole stay. And the yard /outside almost scares you when you get there but the inside was put together nicely
It was a beautiful apartment, don't go by the outside look. We enjoy our stay but unfortunately we got a flat tire by parking in the alley. "Just be careful by parking in the alley"
Overall the house is very nice and clean.
The inside was fine, as advertised online but the refrigerator door handle was broken when we arrived and the door was difficult to keep closed. Lock on outside door did not work. We were disappointed in the outside and entryway was very cluttered and thought that was the shoe rack to use at first, property not very appealing front or back. Saw person mow around the table in back and did not weed eat the weeds or mow them. We brought bag chairs hoping to sit out back on deck but deck did not appear safe. Location was great to downtown though. Probably would not stay there again or refer.
While the outside of the property was not impressive, the apartment itself was as advertised. It was clean and well-maintained. It was convenient to walk to the midtown, old market, and downtown areas during the day.

Great apt... Close to amenities.
Don't let the outside fool you. This little apartment is NICE. Communication with owner is A+. It was close to stores and is 6min from the zoo. We rented the unit with 3 girls (ages 6,7,8) and they loved the downstairs. There was 6 of us total and there was plenty of room. We are VERY clean people and have a high standard for cleanliness. So when I say it was clean..... It was clean. The beds appeared to be new, the furniture was dated but VERY comfortable. All the amenities we needed were available. Communication with owner was superb. The outside of the building needed some repairs, but when you got inside, you forgot all about the outside. The neighborhood was decent. It rained one night we were there and a neighbor offered some plastic to cover our electric wheelchair. He even walked home to get the plastic. We were driving a mini van with an 8ft trailer and parking was plentiful. We are already planning another trip and will be renting this unit again

I am native to the Omaha area, am a Notre Dame Graduate (GO IRISH), & am a passionate traveler. I have been to Italy, Scotland, Ireland, and several domestic cities such as Atlanta, San Francisco, and more. Finding a good place to stay during travel is key to setting the stage for a great trip! That's why I decided to help contribute to the traveling community by being a host. I am hopeful and excited to have you stay at one of my rentals. Why they chose this property
This property has been a part of Omaha's history since 1888. It gives insight into how this great city once was and we can see how far we've come. The inside of the property retains much of the origin charm, but has had several updates to ensure tenant comfort. Our rental also has a location second to none as it sits only a few minutes from the most lively parts of Midtown and Downtown Omaha. This brings the benefit of having quick access to events, restaurants, etc., while also being able to come back to a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. For travelers interested in cooking for themselves, there is a large local grocery store on the corner, a mere 3-4 minute walk from our rental.
What makes this property unique
I fell in love with this building and this space because of how its unique, rustic original design flows so beautifully with the modern additions that creates a peaceful, yet welcoming and homey energy. It feels as if the home has been passed down to you personally from previous generations. Additionally, with a back patio and front porch, it is incredibly enjoyable to sit outside enjoying the city view or the neighborhood view with frequent occurrences of dogs and their owners walking by.
