For some friendly competition, try the giant Connect 4 or cornhole sets!

**Additional Notes**
Winter Accessibility: 4WD is recommended in snow or icy conditions, as roads and the driveway may not be plowed.

Cool spot!

Modern furnished cabin in a unique spot on the back of a huge ridge. In Ohio! Pictures are accurate. It's a beautiful cabin. Three queen beds. Lofts are best for kids. There's a couch and an individual chair, so four people watching TV is tough. But you didn't come to southern Ohio to watch TV. Get out and see some things. There's tons to do nearby. Chillicothe downtown is so cool. Thriving, almost. The road the cabin is on has been improved and has a decent amount of traffic. The backyard is huge, steep,.and mostly wooded. Cool fire pit area. For our family of 4, this worked great, and I would definitely consider booking it again.

The perfect getaway!

Our family had a fantastic time at the tiny cabin. We were impressed with how clean it was and how wonderful it was to sit on the deck with a cup of coffee and chat. Our host was great, very responsive. She gave us lots of ideas on what to do in Chillicothe. We enjoyed our time and would love to come back and stay at the tiny cabin again someday!

Perfection

We stayed as a home base for visiting all of the Hopewell mound builders sites and Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens. Sugarloaf was modern, comfortable, clean and private. We loved everything about it. It was perfect.

Perfect Getaway

Sugarloaf Hillside cabin was exactly what we were looking for for our family's New Year getaway. It was clean, beautifully decorated, stocked with plenty of kitchen items and linens with games for all ages. The hot-tub was relaxing and perfect size. We found hiking and Indian mounds nearby as well as a quaint downtown to explore. Overall we had a memorable and enjoyable stay in this cute tiny house.

Amazing getaway

My friends and I decided that we needed a get away, it was the best time spending time away from our jobs and enjoying nature. We saw all kind of wildlife and the store were amazing. The hot tub was fantastic as well. We enjoyed s’mores on the fireplace but the mornings were the best hearing all the wildlife around you. Will be back!

Private and quiet but close proximity to local restaurants

My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful stay here. It was our first VRBO experience. It was surrounded by beautiful trees and wildlife. We saw deer, cardinals and chipmunks. My daughter said she’s never had a better night’s sleep. My husband said it was one of the best vacation stays. The modern amenities made me feel right at home. Looking forward to going again!

Secluded and Quiet

The property is new and was very clean. Bed was comfortable. We did not go in the lofts. Property is close to Chillicothe for restaurants and park for walking. Gas grill was nice and kitchen was easy to cook in. We'll come back next time we're staying in the area. Perfect for two people.

A tiny paradise

Loved the cabin, both inside and out. Great craftsmanship and lovely decor throughout. Loved the area, both the quiet and the scenery. Was a perfect place to reconnect with our grandchildren. They loved the hot tub and the lofts that they slept in, along with the fire pit. Everyone enjoyed walking aaround the property and checking out the sights. Everything about this place is first class. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Spectacular, Clean, Unique, and Modern Getaway

We loved the cleanliness and attention to detail put into the design of this property. Beautiful lot that’s off the beaten trail but close enough to civilization to get dinner and entertainment. Enjoyed looking at the woods and stars in the lighted hot tub and waking up with the foggy forest from the bedroom window. Good communication with host. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again. 5 Stars all around!

Joy

If I had known the location I probably wouldn’t have booked the reservation, however part of the issue was the road closure. The cabin was more than excellent, confusing internet, so we could not call out. I was very concerned, my wife has been very I’ll, but we decided to try it rather then cancel, but I was worried if she got sicker and I need help, I could figure out how to call for help. Well she got along fine, but still concerned. Other than that we enjoyed our short stay, left early Wednesday night as it’s only an hour away so I could get an early start on some projects I am working on.
