You simply can’t get any closer to the Atlantic shore than Cozy Cottage. Step off the deck and you’re on the beach. There are no dunes to cross: just you, the sand, and water. There’s so much to love about this 50-year-old cottage that is a charming throwback to Old Florida, but chances are, the covered deck will be the highlight of your stay. Watch the crashing surf as you enjoy your morning coffee or evening meal around the table for six. Best of all, your pets are welcome to join you on your Florida vacation.

Come inside Cozy Cottage to find a vaulted ceiling with a plethora of windows letting in the ocean views, an open-concept design, and beach-inspired décor. The plush living room furniture is arranged in a horseshoe formation, so everyone has a great view of the large HDTV with cable and a DVD player. You also have free Wi-Fi that even works out on the deck. To everyone’s delight, you’ll find lots of toys and games stowed away within Cozy Cottage. The dining table just off the kitchen is a great place to work a jigsaw puzzle, play Uno, Risk, or board games. You may not want to cook at all while at Cozy Cottage, but if you do, you have a well-equipped kitchen with granite all the appliances, cookware, and serving ware you’ll need. Just bring in your ingredients from a local grocery store. Imagine enjoying a freshly caught seafood dinner out in the salty sea air.

With three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, you can bring up to six to Cozy Cottage. The primary bedroom is a cheery space with ocean views, a TV, and an en suite bathroom. The en suite is perfect for showering the sand away with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom includes a queen-size bed with a TV and private access to the deck. The third bedroom is your kid zone with two twin beds and plenty of toys and games for the children. And with another full bathroom with a combo tub/shower everyone will be able to get ready and go without hassle. Imagine enjoying a freshly caught seafood dinner out in the salty sea air.

Beach stay 2025

Was traveling home from farther South. My wife and myself wanted a couple days to unwind on our way back up north. The place was absolutely perfect for a relaxing few days at the beach.

Cozy Cottage

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Had trouble with the air conditioning. Followed the instructions, but the temperature went up to 79 degrees and only came down when the outdoor temperature went down. Had trouble with the entry code provided, but was resolved after a phone call.

Location, location, location

Yes, the cottage itself is dated, but you cannot beat this location, they allow pets and it's reasonably priced, we would absolutely stay here again.Like other guests, our assigned code did not work upon our arrival so I had to try to find a phone number to get in touch with someone who changed it while on the phone with me and that worked. We could have used a few extra towels and some rugs would have been nice, but overall, we greatly enjoyed our little slice of heaven with our puppies out on the back porch.The beach is sublime and we enjoyed listening to the waves all hours of the day and night.

Family Christmas Getaway

This is our second time staying in the Cozy Cottage. We enjoyed our stay and love the beach there. We would highly recommend for a family with younger children and family fur babies.

Beachfront stay

Check in process did not go smooth. We could not get in w/ the original code we were given. Because their phone number is not in all their e-mails it took me awhile to find the phone number to call. Spoke w/ someone, was given a new code & got into the house; thus was about 20-30 minutes after check-in time. The kitchen had ants, we discovered the next morning all over our food on the counters. We couldn’t find the wi-fi password & I e-mailed to request it- we didn’t get it until 16 hours after I requested it which was frustrating since we needed it for work. The couches are comfy & nice but most of the furniture was a hodgepodge & didn’t match or flow w/ the beach theme that they were trying to go for. The beds weren’t bad, comfortable enough. The landscaping needed TLC; trees & shrubs were so overgrown over the driveway that it was difficult to find the driveway & bushes nearly scraped our SUV as we pulled into the driveway. The grass was also several inches tall & needed a cutting. The house fit our family of 4 just fine, & had a covered porch overlooking the beach which was the best part. The view & location was awesome. I would only recommend if the company makes it easier to contact them, have quicker responses, the ant problem is dealt with, & the driveway is cleared from trees & bushes.

Close to the Beach

It would be difficult to find a place closer to the beach. It was nice sitting on the porch. It was clean and they allow dogs. In my opinion the description is not accurate and the pictures look better than the cottage. The furniture is dated and OK, but certainly not plush. Two eyes of the stove do not function properly The toaster works if you keep the handle pressed while its working and it is not nearly as well equipped as indicated. What little bit of beach equipment that was there was not even usable. We will certainly not be booking this house again, nor are we likely to book anything that is listed with VTrips again. The house needs to be checked for items needing maintenance and repair.

Beautiful privacy with small town fun near

Thank you for sharing your home with us. House was perfect for our wants and location was beautiful! Recommend triming back entrance trees, we missed the drive serveral times plus they brushed the top and sides of our truck. Otherwise the house needs coasters for all the sweaty drinks. The dryer did not work for us but found a laundry mat. 🙃

Ignore the Naysayers

Our family of 4 stayed here for a week over spring break. Great location right on the beach and close to things to do but far enough out that the beach wasn't crowded at all. We were able to bring our dog which was great. No, it's not a high end place with fancy finishes and tons of updates. It's an older house that is rented out and you get what comes along with that. If you want the Ritz, fork out more money for a newer place. If you have used lots of vrbo's before and understand what you are paying for this is a great place.

Recommend a heads up about the construction next door. The contractors were parking on both sides of driveway, making it difficult to safely exit the property. Trash was left in front of garage doors when we arrived. It could have been broken down and placed into the trash receptacles outside. Ceiling fan large back bedroom and globes in hallway bathroom were dirty, otherwise the place was clean. The view was awesome. The front purchase furniture had been freshly painted, but the paint was flaking off the metal parts. Again, the view was awesome. I would stay again. :)

Family vacation

The overall atmosphere was great. The vacation was very relaxing. The only problem we had was the cleaning of the house, the bedding and pillows was not clean. The bed skirt was dirty. Under the beds was not clean. The shower curtain needed to be replaced. The following comments we mentioned is just a few things that needed to be done at each cleaning. Other than that the trip was great. Thank you

Not Charming Old Florida

Good location but that is the only positive thing we can say about this house. Definitely not worth what we paid for the week’s stay. Cramped; not adequate for even four people. Not enough towels or silverware. Uncomfortable, old, dirty furniture. We enjoyed the beach, but future renters should know that the beach is not sand. Because of renourishment, it is crushed shells.

Quick Getaway with the pups!

We enjoyed our stay. The pictures are an accurate reflection of the home. It was just what we needed but is in no way a luxury property. It is in a great location. On another note, the property to the south of the house is currently under construction, and while we were there a roll off dumpster was delivered to the house to the north which means they are getting ready to start working on that property as well. All that to say, there could be quite a bit of construction noise for the next couple months.

Cozy cottage

Location excellent beach perfect However the home needs a major major update to include couches, patio furniture, and beds. A Also, the cleaning is filthy. The mattresses are stained and smell like pee. Bathroom is very outdated the AC filter vent is disgusting. Also there are alot of safety hazards with too many items plugged in the same area I actually got shocked. The stairs going up to the house and down to the beach or a hazard in themselves very disappointment and the house itself but the location and the beach was perfect.
