Join us the 18th year at the Otter Rock Oasis.

Fresh, fun, and across the street from the beach! Welcome to our beach house in quaint Otter Rock. Access Beverly Beach - a long stretch of beautiful Oregon Coast just two blocks away, or wander down a path across the street to the Marine Garden, a protected preserve ideal for exploring tidepools and the Devil's Punchbowl.

Surfing, beach-combing, picnicking, or just hanging out on the sand - it's all right here. Our town is a bustling spot on a sunny day - don't fight the crowds for parking...stay right here! Mo's West, the Flying Dutchman Winery, and Cliffside Coffee & Sweets are also a couple of blocks away, right across from Devil's Punchbowl State Park. We are also walking distance to Spyglass at Otter Crest which also offers a local dining menu, breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The house has a wonderful deck along the west side to enjoy sunsets, along with a hot tub for a warm up after a day at the beach. A full kitchen with a large dining table is great for homemade meals & catching up with friends. The downstairs bedroom has a queen-size bed (king size coming in December 2024). Upstairs, the bedroom has a queen-size bed and a full/twin bunk bed. There's a futon in the downstairs TV room too. Enjoy movies from our comfy, blue sectional or play one of the many provided board games. With over 1,500 square feet of space on two floors, there is room to spread out and relax. Wifi too!

Perfect for a family vacation, a girl's weekend, or getting away with friends.

The house is accessed by a personalized key code sent via email prior to your stay. Check in is 4pm and check out is 11 am.

We do have a 2 day minimum stay requirement but sometimes offer single days in between other stays, during slower times, or last minute. If actual guest count exceeds the number of people expected, penalty fees may apply.

Neighborhood quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am. Keeping short term rentals an option for your beach vacation means being a good neighbor while here!

Please do not sleep in campers, RV’s, or trailers in our parking areas. Our license allows 6 people max for the septic volume.

Amazing coastal gem

Such a beautiful home to spend a weekend at the coast! Very thoughtful amenities and within walking distance to the beach. It was stormy during our trip but the upstairs living room was a cozy place to watch the waves.

Fantastic location

Beautiful view and close enough to hear the waves of the ocean if sitting upstairs or sitting in the hot tub. Very spacious upstairs for a big family or group of friends. Super close to the beach and Devils Punch Bowl. We loved the location.

Great beach house for family stay

This house was very nice, spacious, greatly furnished, two floors. Great view of sunset and walk across the street to the coast for tide pooling. Nice hot tub. Owner very nice and available to communicate when needed. We hope to come back one day!

Great location, well appointed and cozy

My kids and I stayed here for a couple nights. The location was great - only a short walk from tide pools and a nice secluded beach, and within a few minutes’ drive of Newport. The place was clean, the rooms were spacious, the beds were comfy, and with plenty of linens and towels. The kitchen was very well appointed. We’d definitely stay here again.

Quintessential Oregon Coast

The location is perfect, centrally located as a basecamp to explore the coast. The place is QUIET, and it’s a 5 minute walk to Devil’s Punchbowl with shops and to the local beach. While we explored north and south, the beach right here was the best for beach glass and agates. The property has everything you need and nothing you don't. Everything worked great and it was well stocked with all essentials and more. The owner was in touch throughout the entire process and was a gracious host. This is probably our 10th VRBO and it ranks as one of our top places!

Incredible house and base for fun activities

The house itself was just amazing. We really enjoyed sleeping upstairs with the windows open to hear the waves crashing on the beach when we woke up. The beach is visible from the bed and the experience was just nothing short of wondrous. The house was very cleans and very well appointed. Incredibly appointed. It felt like home and had everything we needed and more. The property owner was very communicative and very accommodating. This was truly a 10 out of 10 experience. We want to come back soon!!

Great house!

We had the best week at this house! The house was very clean and well stocked. When we were home we spent most of our time upstairs. It was great to be able to see the ocean out the windows and relax on the large couch and leather chairs. The game nook with table was great! We loved being able to hear the ocean from the house. We also loved that the entrance to the house was a key pad instead of a key. It was so nice to be able to go to the beach and not have to carry the keys. The great thing about this house is the close proximity to two different types of beaches. We had a great time!

Enjoyed our Stay!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Otter Rock Oasis! The location is beautiful and nicely located between Newport and Depoe Bay. Also, there are a few beaches within walking distance. The home is comfortable and very clean. The owner has added small touches and extras that are thoughtful and nice. The upper level has a great family room with big windows, large couch, game table & games, big screen tv, and most importantly, a beautiful view of the ocean. We enjoyed opening the windows at night and sleeping to the sound of waves. In the mornings, we'd take a short walk to Devil's Punchbowl and then grab coffee and sweets at the Cliffside Coffee and Sweets. The kitchen includes all the cooking accessories and modern appliances. The beds were very comfortable with comforters, lots of pillows, and plenty of extra blankets. Our kids loved the large upstairs bedroom and being able to spread out. Wifi was very good. The TV included a Roku device as well as access to Netflix, Hulu and Disney. The owner was wonderful and attentive. We hope to be back soon! Thanks so much!

Relaxing getaway

My husband and I spent 5 nights here mid-October and had a wonderful time. The weather and the tides were on our side so we were able to explore the nearby tide pools, walk on the beach, sit on the deck, and just relax! The house is very comfortable, everything is well set-up and easy. I hope to visit again sometime!

Otter Rock Oasis

We do Oregon coast yearly as our end of summer before school family vacation, we stayed at this house 2 years ago and LOVED it, made the mistake of staying in rockaway last year and immediately knew we were booking this house for any future trips. The house is perfect from the inside to the location, the kids are never bored and having a house big enough really takes the strain off as a parent vs being trapped in a hotel/motel. We make 75% of our meals at the house rather then eating out and enjoy the rest of the time at the beach. Thank you so much, until next year!!

Excellent Beach Getaway

We had a girls weekend and the house was just perfect. Spacious enough of all of us. Kitchen is stocked very well to be able to enjoy meals at home. Beach access so close we didn't feel like we had to go anywhere else to enjoy our time. Looking forward to coming back!!

Perfect spot

My wife, my young son, and I all really enjoyed our stay at the Oasis. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy ourselves, walking distance to Otter Rock, surfing, the Punchbowl, and the tide pools - really just perfect for us. The house is super comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed reading books and sipping tea while rocking on the porch looking out at the ocean in the near-distance. I highly recommend the Oasis, and am already planning our next family trip!

My family and I really enjoyed staying in this home. The upstairs was very comfortable and provided a great place for the entire family to congregate on the rainy, spring afternoons when we were not by the ocean. There was great seating, great views, games, and it was warm and bright. We found the kitchen to have everything we needed for cooking great meals. The pots and pans and knives were great quality and nice to use. One of this properties greatest attributes is its location. It's a short walk to two different styles of coast line--rocky, tidal pools and wide, flat sandy beach. This made it feel like there were plenty of places to explore right out the front door. It is also a convenient distance from New Port for grocery trips or other errands, while the home itself feels off the beaten path with really only foot traffic on the streets by the house. Great property for those looking to get the most out of the coasts and beaches of Oregon.

Work Retreat

Our team had an amazing stay. We had plenty of work space downstairs and upstairs. Access to wifi was great and allowed for us to remote access into our workstations in the city. We were able to relax in the evening, watching a wide selection of videos from the stash or online. Sleeping arrangements were perfect. Extremely close access to the beach was perfect for taking breaks. Location is close by to either Newport or Lincoln City for meals and shopping. We would definitely return. Several of our participants are looking forward to bringing families over for vacation times.

Great Long Weekend

We had a great long weekend in Otter Rock. The home is perfectly located, within 1/2 a block of a rocky beach for beachcombing, and a block to the store areas of the Otter Rock community and the long sandy beach. We could listen to the waves at night and see the beach through the trees. The home was perfect for our party of 5. The host was very accommodating on check-in and out times which was much appreciated. Very clean and well maintained. 5 Stars.

Perfect Local with Everything!

The Otter Rock Oasis is walking distance, even for small children, to two totally unique beaches! Lounging on the beach and watching the waves or tide pool adventures and hunting for agates, this is perfect for all ages. The owners really thought of everything and the house is so comfortable and Coastal Perfect!

We had the best time staying in Otter Rock!

We loved the location of this beach house because it was so close to two different beaches with easy beach access! It was a perfect fit for our family and we fell in love with this quaint little beach town. The main floor bedroom mattress wasn't very comfortable and the kitchen had sugar spilled on the floor when we arrived but it was easy to overlook these issues because of the amazing time we had while staying there. We'll be back!

It's been fun seeing Otter Rock grow to become a destination on the coast for surfers and beachcombers.

What makes this property unique

This house is comfortable, not fancy. We want you to feel like you can relax without having to get in your car & drive all over the coast to find fun. Our two beaches offer lots of different looks at the coast and there are a few walk-able places to eat/snack when you don't feel like cooking. Our newest update of a west side deck & hot tub (plus a new slider door to access the deck from the kitchen) offers a perfect excuse to enjoy a sunset each night.
