The house has a nice balance of old charm and modern updates. Steep stairs to the second floor mark the house's age, but modern bathrooms and a dishwasher in the kitchen bring it into the 21st century. The yard was beautifully manicured, and the neighborhood was quiet. Tall hedges along the property boundary offered privacy but created a challenge in leaving the driveway to access the street. This house added to a delightful stay in Wake Forest.
This was a very comfortable home with updated touches throughout. Everything you need. Easy walk into downtown, shops, restaurants and a brewery. Nice backyard with a fire pit and seating area.
The listing and photos accurately represent the home. We really enjoyed our stay. Cottage was cute, clean, well appointed, and very comfortable. If in the area, we will stay again.
Our family attended SEBS December graduation and enjoyed staying in this lovely home. The home met all our needs for our family to enjoy time together while we celebrated our daughters graduation. The home owner had Christmas decorations to make our stay even more cozy for the season! We enjoyed the firepit as well on the cool evenings for continued visiting with hot chocolate and s'mores! I would definitely recommend to others staying in the area.
This was a very nice older home that has been remolded. It was spacious overall for just the two of us, but the bathrooms were on the smaller side. The king bed was quite comfortable.
Beautiful home close to downtown. Very comfortable and clean. My girlfriend and I had an amazing stay while visiting family. Would absolutely book again.
property was fine for our needs over the weekend. Hedges were overgrown & caused pulling out or backing onto street difficult. Hard to see cars coming, but overall a nice location.
Everything from pre booking to the stay itself was just phenomenal. Our host was so sweet, the home was absolutely beautiful and ready when we arrived. The circumstances of our visit were not the best but having a comfortable clean home to stay in made it alot better having to be there. Would love to stay again in the future. 💖
