Another Great Stay - We Love This Cabin!

We arrived at the cabin in 2024 after having stayed in 2023 and loved it. There were some improvements like new flooring on the main level, but the cabin was as excellent this year as last. The grill was out of fuel but there was a standby tank next to it, so no call to the owner was necessary. We had no issues with the kitchen, utensils, or any of the utilities. Water was hot and with great pressure. I will say, the beds are by far the most comfortable we've ever slept in. The master bedroom, you can customize the feel to your side if you'd like, it really made things comfortable! Our seven year old as well slept very well, with no concerns about the neighborhood, or wildlife. 10/10, we can't wait to stay again next year. We love this place!

Beautiful

Wow! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your home! It was perfect for our trip! Our son got married at the AA Barn in Grand Lake. We had the space to allow the groomsmen to dress separate from the bridesmaids who were in town. Beds were amazng in ALL the rooms. It was clean and welcoming! I was super pleased at the simple basics available, thank you! Fyi: lighter fluid and citronella oil is low. The mosquitoes were CRAZY!

Great Place!

We had a wonderful week at the house. The top deck, overlooking the lake, was a great spot to rest and relax in the evenings. The house had everything we needed to prep and cook meals. Quiet neighborhood close to a marina with boat rental options. Not too far from all of the shops and restaurants in Grand Lake. Hope to return again next Summer.

Beary Vantastic

It's hard to begin a review where you're completely happy. I have no real/legit complaints about the property--it was clean, stocked where appropriate, well-kept and the utilities/sink/toilets all were great. Showers were better than anything you'd find at any hotel. The location is my only "complaint," and it's really just a mention to be aware that you're about 20-25 mins from a legit grocery store (with options that won't be too terribly expensive) and about 10-15 from restaurants/things. W found ourselves kicking ourselves that we didn't plan better when we stopped in Granby. Grand Lake, the one corner market, knows you're not a local and you'll pay $4 for a can of tomatoes. However, we were hardly a stones throw from the NP entrance and marinas for boat rentals, and had a great place to drop the packs after a day on the trails. The house again, was amazing. I come from the suburbs where I haven't seen the milky way in over 5 years. Being able to watch the storms roll in from the west mountains & watching the fog roll over the lake as you sip coffee as the sun rises, are great experiences you'll have here. I can't wait to be back. And lastly, there's the bear walking past you as you sit on the upper deck at 9p, is something you'll never forget, either. I did forget to mention above, the folks you communicate with are quick and courteous, and accommodating. We had no major issues of concern during our stay but were confident they could handle it.

Winter Get Away

Nice place! Lots of space, comfortable furniture. Pretty well stocked with most things you might need. Paper towel and toilet paper are on the cheap side. If things like that bother you, I would suggest taking your own. There were books and games and DVD's, I also noticed a PlayStation. You also might want to take some night lights with you! - Driving up to it in the winter would be a challenge if you don't have 4 or all-wheel drive. - One of the first things I noticed was a rug in the hallway with turned-up corners... such a trip hazard. - There's nothing in the bedrooms to put your bags on, but the rooms are big enough. - The microwave light over the stove does not work - it probably needs a new bulb. - No cutting board in the kitchen. - I tried to use the remote to light the gas fire and it wouldn't work. Ended up having to get batteries for it and that was the problem. - There was an empty dish soap bottle at the kitchen sink - I had to refill it with the small amount that was in a large bottle under the kitchen sink. - There was an empty hand soap bottle at the bathroom sink that I had to refill with the large bottle that was under the kitchen sink. - When we were getting ready to leave, I was going to start the dishwasher, but the container with the dishwasher soap pods was empty. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

Nice and spacious Cabin

The cabin was spacious, warm and cozy. It had beautiful views of the nearby bay and surrounding mountains. The only difficulty we had with the property was finding it. The address didn't pop up the exact location and in the winter the road it's on becomes a dead end due to the way the neighborhood is plowed. Overall it was a great experience and we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful house in a quiet neighborhood close to the lakes

This house was perfect for us. Lots of room to organize our snow gear on the first floor, then cozy nice kitchen/living area on second floor and wonderful master suite on the third floor. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful Stay in Grand Lake!

My wife and I stayed here with our two dogs and had a wonderful time! Check-in/out instructions were easy to follow and contact with the host was smooth. We had some difficulty finding the house but that was do to the amount of snow in the area and google not giving the best directions. If visiting in winter, we would recommend a higher clearance vehicle with 4WD or AWD. Once we found the house, the key was easy to access and gaining entry was smooth. The house was initially a little chilly but the thermostat was easy to use and the house heated up quickly. We loved the layout of the house! The house opens into a mud room with an electric fireplace which was great for setting snowy footwear in front of. There is also a laundry room with a full size washer/dryer which we didn't use. The house was definitely more than we needed as there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms as listed. We chose to sleep on the main level in the bedroom facing the street as it had a king bed which we enjoyed as both of us are tall. We found the bed extremely comfortable! The bathroom was plain but we both enjoyed hot showers with consistent water pressure! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. We also enjoyed the easy access to the back deck off the kitchen/living room area. Granted there was knee deep snow on the back deck, but after a quick shoveling, shovel provided, we were able to create an easy path for our dogs to use the bathroom. All in all, we would love to stay here again!
