Cozy Guest House Welcomes You

We invite you to stay at our newly renovated home, centrally located close to local downtown, eateries and shopping. I'm new to hosting, but stay in Airbnb's and VRBO's almost exclusively and believe I know what guests are looking for. Our house has open living spaces with a fully stocked kitchen and large gathering table. Full bath has luxury amenities and lots of storage space. Bedrooms have spacious closets and drawers. Enjoy our guest house for a day or a month and make it your home away from home!
The space
Our cozy guest house is a work in progress. While we have renovated the interior and made it ready for you to enjoy with many amenities, we continue to add decor items and more guest amenities. Thank you for considering our house for your stay in Dubuque!

Great stay in Dubuque.

The house was extremely clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The neighborhood was quiet. Communication with Lori was easy and pleasant. We enjoyed exploring Dubuque. We were in town to float the Grant River, and this was a great place to stay to do that. Thanks for a great stay.

Charming Clean Home

Very nice, newly updated interior and super clean. The home is in a quiet area conveniently located near downtown Dubuque and the west side. The only downside during our stay was that the sheets and towels were dried with dryer sheets / fabric softener that had an overly strong scent which permeated the entire house. For those who are sensitive to perfumes and chemicals, it was a drawback. The host made sure the house was very well stocked, and was very responsive to our inquiries. Overall it was a nice stay.

Nice place

Was nice to be able to have a home instead of a hotel room. The extra space and the kitchen was nice. We were comfortable with 3 adults. Not sure if there is room for 6 especially with one bath. Would defintely stay again if needed. Lori was very kind and responded quickly when necessary. Would defintisly recommend!

Cozy and quiet

My mother and I stayed here for a few nights while visiting my sister. Really enjoyed the house. Very clean and well stocked, a lovely little patio in the back yard, and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful.

Perfect Place when Visiting Dubuque!

We enjoyed our stay! The place was well stocked and maintained. Loved the labels on everything which made it easier to find what we were looking for! Easy to communicate with Lori! The house definitely fulfilled our needs as a family of 4. We would definitely stay again if we are ever in Dubuque.

What a wonderful rental!

From the moment we stepped inside we were completely impressed! The home was clean and comfortable (even the sofa bed!) The Landscaper came right when we were checking in. He didn't blow any clippings so we felt badly when we kept on dragging leaves, grass, etc. on Saturday. We've already recommended this VRBO to many of our friends!

Nice place!

This was a very nice house to stay at. Nice quiet neighborhood during the day and at night while sleeping. House was decorated really cute. Beds were comfortable. Shower was great. Kitchen was really nice, just didn't use much since we ate all our meals out. You do have to park on the street and climb up some steps to get into the house but that was fine for us. It may not be for someone older that has trouble with steps. Otherwise, a great place to stay and easy to drive everywhere.

Dubuque

This rental is extremely clean and cozy. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes and cookware. The bath towels are better than any hotel I've stayed at. The bed was a bit firm for me but I own a sleep number. We chatted with the neighbor a bit, she was very friendly and offered us an umbrella. The streets are narrow but managable. Overall, we will be choosing this rental for our next stay!

Beautiful home…great host!

We enjoyed our stay here…nicely remodeled home with comfortable beds. Even the pull out sofa was comfortable! Everything is just like the pictures…new, clean and functional. We wanted to be in Dyersville but for the 20 minute drive this house was much nicer than anything we saw available there. Lori was great…we didn’t need anything while we were there but she always got right back to me prior to our stay. It rained so we didn’t get to take advantage of the backyard and the grill but it looked like a nice spot for chilling out with a glass of wine.
