Great setup for family fun

Great location. Everything needed for 1 or 2 families. Hot tub on the porch overlooking the woods was a big hit with our kids. We will be back. Thanks!

Everything we need to relax and have a awesome stay

This beautiful cabin was exactly as pictured and described. The cabin was pristine and well stocked with towels, linen, throw rugs, blanket, toiletries, dishes, utensils and cooking ware (e.g bowls, pots & pans). The floor plan was perfect for my family, we could all be together while eating, watching t.v., playing games, and enjoying nature outside. We loved the hot tub it was so roomy. We also, had a great time sitting on the porch in the rocking and gliding chairs at night. The teenagers spent most of their time in the movie theater and game room. I loved all the on-suite bathrooms, it was like our own spa oasis with the jet tub and elegant decor in the showers and flooring. The bedrooms had more than enough space for multiple people to get a good night’s rest. There was an extremely cozy and spacious loft perfect for quietly reading. We especially enjoyed ending our last night making s’mores at the fire pit. Lastly, the host Ryan was phenomenal. He was extremely responsive to my questions and made me feel like his only concern was making my family feel comfortable and enjoy our stay. I highly recommend this cabin.

Driveway is pretty steep, had trouble getting our van up the hill. I would recommend parking at the top of the driveway. Overall a nice place.

Perfect Hocking Hills Location

We loved our stay at Ellis Edge Cabin. We took our older grandkids for a couple days away with some winter hiking. The cabin was great and so close to Old Man's Cave where we hiked to Cedar Falls and back in a couple inches of snow. Upon our return the hot tub at the cabin was a big hit. The older boys battled for bragging rights at the pool table and enjoyed lounging and watching movies in the theater room. They even made use of the fire pit the first night. The host was very responsive to our questions and very congenial to work with. The entire experience was perfect. The one note to others would be to bring your own shampoo and soap for the showers as those are not provided. But there is a Walmart just 15 minutes away if you find you forgot items and a Kroger a few minutes from Walmart so you don't really need to bring a lot of groceries with you. Grandma Faye's is also close by if you want some snacks or ice cream treats. Highly recommend Ellis Edge for your stay.

Perfect Getaway

Perfectly described. Our stay was wonderful. This cabin was spotless and was even decorated with a small Christmas tree and holiday decorations. We loved EVERYTHING about our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone.

House in the hills

Made the best memories in this home celebrating my 50th birthday! The house was beautiful with a full bathroom for each bedroom. Exterior furniture was top notch with high quality rockers, chairs and swings. Interior had excellent mattresses in all the bedrooms with a very nice solid dining table and benches which was great for board games. The movie room was amazing with high quality seating for six people. The front room couches were disappointing, they were IKEA grade and kept moving and coming apart. The couch and pillows were the only disappointments of the trip especially for the amount of money that was spent to stay there. Other than that, I would definitely rent there again.

Fall Couples Getaway

Our overall impression of this cabin is excellent. The log cabin itself is extremely clean and extremely well maintained with all the comforts even better than my home. One piece of the cottage that we really enjoyed was the outdoor fireplace on the deck with the rocking chairs we sat by that each night. Our four-legged deer friends visited us as well. The only thing that I would point out and it is super minor is the couch es in the main gathering space are not as cozy for watching a movie or gathering around a fire, and again that's a super minor point. Overall a great stay for a fall gathering of friends.

Old Ladies' Getaway

Keypad broke during our stay and we could not get back in the house. LVMM for the owner who was unresponsive. Luckily found someone excavating for a house next door and he was able to contact the local maintenance person who was able to fix the keypad and get us in. Cupboards were sparse on dishes and glasses. Refrigerator filter needed replacing and kept beeping. Internet is spotty, cell phone service also spotty.

Great ladies getaway!

This is a beautiful cabin. Eight friends (ladies) got together for a 3 night stay and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. So nice to have 3 stories with a king size bedroom and full bath on each level. We will be back. This was our second year to stay in this cabin. First year there were 6 of us. We picked up 2 more friends this year.

Heaven in the Hills

Nicest cabin we’ve stayed in ( 17 years coming to Hocking Hills)and close to hikes. I loved the back deck fireplace & hot tub. Wife loved the theater room. Careful of the steep short driveway if not in a 4wd. For tv watching- unplug to reboot ( sounds like other reviewers had some issues too ) saw deer out back, no raccoon issues either.some road noise ( cabin sits above rt 664 ) Overall we will be back with kids/ grandkids !

Fabulous House in Hocking Hills

This house is well appointed, exceptionally comfortable beds and plenty of room for our group of six adults. Beautiful spacious deck with rocking chairs and outdoor eating table was enjoyed by all. This house is near Old Man’s Cave and centrally located for all Hocking Hills hiking trails. Also a quick drive into Logan. We highly recommend this fantastic house!
