About this property
Gorgeous Apt in Little Italy w/ Rooftop & Parking
Welcome to my sun drenched apartment. Located in one of the oldest buildings in the historic harbor side neighborhood known as Little Italy. Bright & airy apartment with calming decor. Open floor plan on the 1st floor. Stairway up to the lofted bedroom. High ceilings & a lot of Eastern facing light. The apartment is beautifully decorated with a mix of new & vintage furniture. There is roof access w/ a beautiful live green wall. Most of the art in the apartment is made by myself.

The Space
This is a sunny 1 bedroom, one bathroom apartment in the heart of Little Italy. This is my primary residence that I occasionally rent out while traveling so I am very particular of who will be allowed to rent here. Open, sunshine filled apartment. Brand new appliances, comfy sofa, relaxing atmosphere. Most of the art is made by me. I work as a weaver so please be careful if you touch any of the art. The kitchen is stocked with tons of appliances and cooking tools so it's a great place to stay in and cook if you decide to hit up the farmers market on Saturday morning. THERE IS NO TV so please bring a laptop or iPad if you would like to watch something at night when you come home. Loads of art, design and cook books to look through for inspiration! Large outdoor dining table, relaxing chairs, and two person hammock. I use the garden as a barrier from the edge of the roof. Please use caution while on the roof. No parties or guests on the roof during your stay due to liability reasons. We also have neighbors who live in the building and I do not like to encroach on their area so please stay on my side. *The Harbor Arms Building was built in 1886 with a 3rd floor addition built in the late 1990's. The apartment has a lot of character. Old floors, but a few modern upgrades to the kitchen and the bathroom. The bedroom was a more recent addition in the late 1990's to resemble to front of a boat.
* Coming Soon Before Summer I Will Be Having Motorized Blackout Shades Installed In The Three Tall Windows By The Bedroom.*
*PLEASE NOTE THAT I CANNOT PARK OVERSIZED VEHICLES LIKE (ie Suburban etc…)
* Please do not suggest that I get a microwave in your review. This is a conscious decision on my part :)
* I Do Not Have a TV In The Apartment, But If You Would Like A TV Left Upstairs In The Bedroom I Can Arrange To Have That. Please Inquire First*

The Neighborhood
Great location if you are attending a conference at the Convention Center!
Little Italy is one of the most desirable areas in San Diego and is home to unique shops, cafes, wine bars, and breweries. And, of course, it’s also home to numerous restaurants, both Italian eateries and other cultural dining spots as well! Nearby neighborhoods include Balboa Park, Harborview, and the Gaslamp. The San Diego Bay is also just a few minutes away.
Getting Around
This apartment is in a great location. The Little Italy Trolley stop is just a block away and the Santa Fe Depot is also within walking distance. If you have a car, the city’s main expressways are also easily accessible.
Please remember that you will be staying in a home, not a hotel. Therefore, I ask that you treat our space with the same respect you would show your own.
Guest access
Shared washer/dryer in the closet in the foyer
1 assigned parking spot (I will email you directions to the assigned parking spot) PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT PARK OVERSIZED CARS OR TRUCKS IN THE SMALL PARKING LOT
Other things to note
We are always around if you need something please do not hesitate to ask.
*Please do not suggest I get a microwave or a tv. These are conscious decisions on my part :)
