The house is cute. Could have been cleaner. The back patio wasn't as it was in photos. It was weedy and cushions were dirty. Some plumbing issues. One of the door handles was barely on. Lighting wasnt great. Could ne great with some fixes.
The property didn’t look like what was posted online
The actic was noisy and broke, shower curtain and bedding was nasty, the ceiling in the living room leaking down the wall unto the floor while raining, outside back area looks like a tornado hit it disaster, the door knob in the back door hanging off as if someone been tampering with it, the little towels we had was mismatched and dirty. All the vents had dust mites and no parking space. The entire property need a deep cleaning and upgrades. Ironing board broke one of the bathrooms sink bagged up.
Overall, property fine. A little bit sketchy area (which I knew when I booked) but easy access to parade route for Mardi Gras. House was very spacious and plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 kids. There were a number of issues brought up to property manager that he/she was quick to respond to but no actual action. Water pressure in bathrooms are horrible; mold in bathrooms: lights don’t work; animal in attic; backyard does now look like the pictures; washer/dryer needs to be replaced and some simple fixes need to happen. It could be a wonderful place but just needs some love.
The house had more than enough room to accommodate all of our needs and was in a perfect location. From the bedrooms to the bathrooms we had all we needed. The living room, kitchen, and dining room were all perfect. There is a great area in the back with a fire pit as well as a nice front porch to sit on. Everything was a 5-10 minute Uber away including the French Quarter, Magazine Street and the Superdome. I look forward to coming back.
The property was perfect for a group traveling with lots of room to spread out and plenty of bathrooms for privacy! The kitchen was stocked with the basics. The property was located near enough to everything that we had no issues getting around. Or getting food delivered when wanted. For anyone that is larger, the back two bathrooms are designed with a very small space to enter the bathroom because the sink is quite large. There aren't an abundance of washclothes, so would recommend bringing your own. We attempted to do a load of laundry, the washer was extremely loud and the dryer took a really long time to start getting hot, make sure you don't close the door with the dryer going as the hot air leaves moisture on all the walls.
This wonderful place is well located within walking distance to public transportation, restaurants, and some shopping. The home is comfortable. The neighborhood is charming. We were able to easily get into other areas from this location. The hosts are very responsive to inquiries.
Hello, the lavender house in New Orleans Louisiana Louisiana Avenue was simply beautiful. The rooms were very big they were the rooms were very clean. Everything was just beautiful. I would definitely recommend this house to someone else who wanted to come and stay in New Orleans the management of the property when we call the immediately got back with us and I thank you so much and I look forward to renting your house again.
We stayed here for my sisters bachelorette trip and had an amazing time. I was pleasantly surprised at how much space this house had. I would stay there again.
Was a great 2 night stay. Very clean with a great place to eat just down the street. Keys Market has the best food at great prices Would definitely stay here again. If you have a larger group you can’t go wrong staying here. Thanks for a great first visit to NOLA
We enjoyed our stay -- the house is lovely and very comfortable. The location worked well -- 1/2 between Tulane's campus and the French Quarter made it easy to enjoy all NOLA has to offer!
Neely renovated clean house that’s excellent for the price. It’s good that there’s ample parking in the front because the neighborhood is not one to take a leisurely stroll. Fortunately you don’t need to go far to find beautiful parks and quaint neighborhoods to walk around. The communication with the owner is great, and the house is perfect for a large group
We had such a great experience between the spaciousness of the house and the very helpful host I can’t recommend this place enough. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.
This is a large home with plenty of beds and baths for 2 families. Everything inside is updated and in working order. Owner was very responsive to any questions or issues during our stay. Great location close to all that new orleans has to offer.
The place is great. Would like to stay there again if I go to New Orleans. We did have an issue with two of the showers not having hot water. I asked the host about it on the app and didn’t get an answer back.
The Lavender Haze property was perfect for our party of 5! The place was spacious, clean and perfect for a friends getaway in NOLA. The host, Pat, was thoughtful and accommodating. He also provided some great restaurant recommendations near by.
The location was bigger than expected! It was able to fit our group comfortably and with ease! It was a short uber ride away from everything and it was hard to miss (ITS A LAVENDER HOUSE). Pat was very attentive to any questions I had before or during the stay! Would definitely recommended this place!
This house had everything we needed to enjoy family time. Plenty of space and conveniently located in the city.
Only problems: We had some issues with the washer working properly
This home was filled with sweet surprises. We had access to a vitamix blender. There were 2 coffee makers, Keurig and standard. We had an abundance of supplies, dish washer pods, trash bags and paper towels. We came on a girls trip and everyone was comfortable. We had one person who liked it warmer and another who liked it very cold - so it was wonderful to have two air conditioning units so that everyone was happy. The back patio is as beautiful as it looked on the picture. We parked our car and used Uber and Lyft to get everywhere- no matter where we were, it never took longer than 15 minutes to arrive at the Lavender Haze
