Family reunion for a relative’s 90th birthday party in Southold. It’s the second time we enjoyed this cottage and I was not disappointed. Comfortable, nicely appointed, convenient and private. Perfect for us.
Stayed at this beautiful cottage for the second time. Perfect location for traveling around the North and South Fork. The Cottage is immaculately kept and the Host, Erin is extremely nice. Highly recommend it.
We loved this cottage. The owners have done a great job at making your stay very comfortable. When we arrived it was hot and humid but the AC was on and made a huge difference. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking with all equipment available. Only disappointment was we thought it was on the water and it’s not.
Perfect little cabin for a few days of chill time with our pups. The cabin is cozy and well appointed and very close to town. The backyard was a treat to relax in and have the dogs run around. We would absolutely love to come and stay again. Thank you!
Cottage is great - exactly as described and probably even better. Erin was a wonderful host and had a lot of nice touches in the space to make it a cozy weekend. The backyard is large and fully fenced in which our little dog loved. Location is a short drive to many great wineries. Highly recommend a stay with a few close friends
I loved this cottage! So clean and comfortable. Everything was provided to make it seamless, nice towels, soft sheets, even the air was on when we arrived. The yard was ideal for my dog to run around in, the fencing is great! I just felt so immediately at home and was happy with just about everything. Will definitely come back if I’m on the North Fork again.
Everything was great! Easy to find, clean, and had everything we needed. The host communicated well and we had no issues with anything. Would stay again!
This cottage is tucked back from the marina so you can enjoy a calming water view by walking out the front door and taking a few steps down the dirt road. The cottage is very thoughtfully appointed and a comfortable retreat for some relaxing time away from hustle and bustle.
We enjoyed two nights at Erin’s cottage in February 2024. The house was beautiful and unique and Erin had everything provided as promised and more. She also has a huge fenced in yard for dogs to run around in and that was the cherry on top! We could walk into town and there were wineries all around the area. Beautiful spot she has there, I would definitely go back!
We love this house and have rented with Erin on multiple occasions. We love the house, fenced yard for our pup, screened porch and the location. It’s just a special place. So much so, ideally we’d like to keep it as secret as possible… ha! So charming, inside and out. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
The house was spotless and the hosts extremely accommodating. It snowed and there was a winter festival in town. We had a lovely time sitting by the fireplace and watching the deer. Our dogs had the run of the backyard which was fenced in and large. We have a Vrbo and have stayed in many. This was one of the best!
We loved the property. The host was very responsive, the home was lovely, quiet, well appointed, well stocked with start up items including some goodies. I only wish I could see some water from the house although water was a short walk away. We will return.
This was our third stay at this sweet house, and everything was delightful. This time we had perfect summer weather, so we enjoyed the beautiful sunporch, the shady hammock, and all the bird and squirrel activity in the huge yard. The lush landscaping really gives that nice feeling of peaceful privacy. The open kitchen is well-stocked with handsome plates, good pans, and all the utensils and gadgets anyone could need for fixing nice meals. We also did a lot of outdoor cooking on the excellent grill. Erin is the most thoughtful host - there's always a nicely curated little assortment of cold drinks and fun snacks as a sweet welcome. Comfortable beds and excellent water pressure, too. This is our favorite go-to spot when visiting family on the North Fork. We can't wait to return!
My family has been coming to the north fork for years. This is the first property I’ve stayed at that had a fully fenced in yard for my dog. Not only is the house perfect and fully stocked with everything (and more) that you could possibly need and want, but the yard is HUGE and beautiful. My dog was in heaven. The home is also just a short walk to downtown Southold. I highly recommend Erin’s home and I hope to return in the future. She was such a gracious host and even left us snacks and beverages. We could not have asked for a better stay.
We enjoyed three delightful days at Erin’s cottage! Felt more like a cozy cabin in the quiet woods - though it’s only a couple of minutes from downtown Southold - with its stylish woodwork, cool furnishings, and sweet fireplace. We were lucky to have snow during our stay, so we really loved the views out of the many windows and French doors. The little house is nicely laid out, with good beds and a handsome bathroom with good water pressure and excellent towels. We cooked many meals in the well-equipped kitchen - the whole place is outfitted with tasteful and user-friendly details. Erin was such a thoughtful host, very sweet and easy to deal with. We can’t wait to return as often as we can, and in warmer weather, to get to enjoy the pretty sun porch and nice big yard!
From check in to check out, our stay was perfect. All you needed was supplied, a snack basket and beverages in the fridge. Secluded for privacy, large fenced in yard that gave me peace of mind knowing my dog could roam free and stay safe. Dog bowl, doggie bags, and ball to play outside with were all provided.
Cozy and relaxing, fully functioning kitchen. Clean and organized. The fireplace really brought the cabin feel to our stay.
The owner was easy to do business with, kind and courteous. I would recommend renting this location, especially if traveling with your dog.
We are childhood friends celebrating our 65th Birthdays and we had a fantastic time! The host had everything we could need in the cottage and provided thoughtful, personal touches to top it off. The cottage was immaculate, the beds were comfortable with beautiful linens, the kitchen was well stocked with all essentials, the porch was great for morning coffee when it rained, the picnic table outside was a wonderful place to eat a meal, and the location was amazing! We were able to walk to town for dinner, drinks, and shopping. We were a short distance to beaches, wineries, farms, and Greenport. Check in was easy and the host gave specific instructions on how to find the property. Erin was always available to answer any questions. We can't thank you enough for this unforgettable weekend!!
We frequent the North Fork to escape from Manhattan and this was by far our most enjoyable stay. This house was perfect! So cozy, comfy, well appointed and so perfectly designed. It had everything we needed - a huge yard for our pups to roam, a perfectly stocked kitchen and an awesome little fireplace. The host was fab and went the extra mile to leave us snacks and drinks. She was incredibly responsive and just a delight to work with. We can’t wait to come back. We’re excited to spend a summer weekend here and enjoy the beautiful screened in porch.
