Not long after we got there the property owner began emailing us about a noise complaint. He ended up coming by the house to tell us that the student on the front porch needed to stop the music he was playing (he was practicing his accordion). This was about 9:30pm (or so). The ad clearly states quiet hours are from 10pm-7am. In his email to us that we received after he came by the house, he told us to leave his property. We ended up staying and he told us we would not be welcome back. When we booked this stay we told them it was a group of high school students and two sponsors. This is in no way, in our opinion, to manage a rental property. We have stayed at this property previously with no issues. We are disappointed that we are not welcome back over something so minor. The house is great.
Thanks Glenn, as before, house was in great shape and ready for our stay, enjoyed every minute, the twin lamb birth was a bonus. We hope to be back next year.
House was perfect for our needs. We had a wedding in the area and the entire out of town family was able to stay here. Quiet, private and roomy. We took a day to drive into Hico which we thoroughly enjoyed. The dogs were a bonus. The owners left us with treats so we made friends fast. Beautiful sunrises right out the main living area. We're planning on this property for our next family reunion.
Glenn was very easy to work with and the house was great for my entire family. It was a last minute schedule and Glenn was so nice to allow us to stay. He communicated every step of the way. We loved the home and where the location was. We will most definitely be going back and hope to stay for more than one night next time!
We booked this house based on room for several people. We were in the area for our son’s wedding. This was 35 minutes from the wedding site but not bad at all. The drive was nice. We filled all 9 bedrooms with family driving in for the wedding. It was great to all be together. The washer and dryer were a plus. It was raining and some of us washed our clothes. The ranch dogs are adorable. We enjoyed our visit.
My family and a few friends had a horse training clinic in Hamilton TX, so we rented the large home to accommodate everyone. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay, we loved the sheep, the dogs and especially enjoyed the beautiful nights sky!! Vicki was an amazing host, she even moved her sheep around to accommodate some of our horses!! We would defiantly rent from them again!!
Great and spacious house, fully equipped with everything needed. They have sheeps that the kids loved to feed and they left treat for the kids to give to their farm dogs.
Very clean, organized and exactly how described.
It qasa short trip but we are alrwady planning on returning for a full weekend to spend more time!!
Host very helpful and responsive.
This place was great. The house was amazing on space! The view was beautiful & the animals were sweet. Definitely a place to stay for a retreat & getaway from fast paced life.
Ours was a ministry event where we needed enough beds for all guys. Not only did we have room, but we also had an over abundance of bathrooms and space to do what we do. I hope we’ll be able to come back there again.
Was the perfect place for our families. We were here for a wedding and a Birthday!! Everyone had rooms and bathrooms. The sunrises were beautiful! The animals were so friendly! Hope to be able to have another family event so we can book this place again!
We had a great time here. It was quiet. The sheep dogs and the neighbors were friendly. We will definitely come back! Hico was easy to get to, too! Glenn answered every question quickly.
In the area for our daughter’s wedding reception. Plenty of room for the entire family. Beautiful views and loads of room for our large group. Large kitchen, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms.
This home/property has provided just what my group needed both times. The spacious home and grounds were wonderful. The hosts are very personable and communicate quickly and efficiently.
We all loved our stay. The dining room table easily seats 12 so it was perfect for all the sitting around chatting and eating we did there. The whole place was restful and peaceful and lovely with the wildflowers everywhere.
We absolutely loved staying at the Circle 4B Ranch. Our hosts were the best, and made sure we had everything we needed. The ranch was beautiful - wildflowers, birds watching - it was fun to walk around and enjoy the peaceful surroundings…as well as their sheep, goats, chickens, and big friendly dogs. The perfect place to view the solar eclipse! Highly recommend!!
I am an Ag Teacher. We stayed here for the Tarleton contest with my students competing. It was a great price and accommodated all of us. My students loved it as well.
Large home that was able to accommodate our large family who came to lay our granny to rest. The large kitchen was great for cooking big meals for everyone. And all the bathrooms came in handy when we had multiple people getting ready at the same time. Plus the kids loved all the dogs!! Would highly recommend
We didn’t get to spend as much time at the house due to my son wedding obligations. I loved knowing I had a place to spend time with friends & family after the event.
You will enjoy the area & the house setup. My granddaughter loved playing hiding seek & the games that was provided. We loved watching the animals roam free. There is a baby sheep that we admired in a distant. The dogs on the property are sweet & friendly. My sweet granddaughter wanted to take one home.
Peaceful, relaxing & breath taking view.
Beautiful views! Waking up to the sunrise over the hills with the sheep grazing was lovely. Plenty of space for everyone, with clean, well maintained facility with plenty of linens and two well equipped kitchens! We’ll definitely be staying again when we show at the Circle T!
Having several couples and two singles, we were delighted that everyone had their own room with private bath. SO AMAZING!!! The house was really spacious and well kept. The views breathtaking and sunrise while we were there were beyond words. Thank you, Glenn, for being such a gracious host. We will definitely be coming back! If you want a place to unwind and enjoy country tranquility try this!
Lovely old country buckhouse with so many bedrooms! Our group never felt on top of eachother. We enjoyed waking up to the "livestock guardians" and all those sweet baby lambs. Our grandson was fascinated with the kittens, chickens and sheep!
