Valentines day ski getaway.

Nice cozy two bedroom cabin. Wood stove was a wonderful touch! Kept us cozy. It did get a little hot upstairs but the altermate heat source kept the whole place warm once the fire died down. Had all the amenities you need and was super close to the ski hill.

Beautiful cabin

Stayed here with my girlfriend, for her birthday weekend. We both loved it! No hot tub, but we weren't upset. Cabin is clean and well designed. Will stay again.

Neil and I have 4 beautiful daughters and 5 adorable grandchildren. We love Northern Michigan, spending time outdoors and travelling.

Why they chose this property

This cabin will have you wanting to stay forever because it is so peaceful and relaxing. It's nestled in 2 acres of pine trees giving you all the privacy you want yet it is close to all of northern Michigan's exciting adventures! Crystal Mountain Resort is just 2 miles away, Sleeping Bear Dunes, 18 miles, many breweries and wineries, and unbelievable scenery! Oh, did I mention, Lake Michigan, Crystal Lake and the Betsie River?!!! We LOVE this area!

What makes this property unique

This chalet was designed by 2 Michigan artists and you will see their unique and creative touches throughout the cabin. The window cornices, the tile in the bathroom, the doors and hand carved fish were all designed and handmade by them. The Crystal Cub Chalet is named for the carved bear cub on the beam going up to the loft. This property shows pride! Many of the restaurants and breweries and local attractions are privately owned local operators who truly care about providing real customer service - a rarity these days! Our favorites are listed in the house guidebook.
