Step into Tucson’s history at Casa Linda! Built in 1916, this rare wood-frame Craftsman bungalow sits in the historic Menlo Park district, complete with a volcanic rock fence mined from nearby “A” Mountain. Every corner of our home reflects Tucson’s heritage, from its vintage charm to the carefully curated art collection celebrating Día de los Muertos and local artists.

We've made extensive upgrades to ensure modern comfort, including new flooring, updated appliances (yes, there’s a dishwasher!), and enhanced bathroom fixtures. The home’s thoughtful layout makes the most of its 750 sq ft, featuring a spacious living-dining area, a dedicated workspace, and a generously sized kitchen. Two cozy bedrooms offer queen beds, ample storage, and art from Tucson’s vibrant creative scene.

Outdoors, relax under the shaded patio, sip coffee on the classic front porch, or gather around the firepit. A grill, electric scooters, and plenty of seating make it easy to enjoy the desert landscape. We’re also pet-friendly, with a fully fenced yard and a doggy door for four-legged guests.

For entertainment, enjoy live TV, Hulu, Disney+, and lightning-fast WiFi. Comfort is a priority, with an oversized HVAC system and two whole-home air cleaners featuring polarized filters and UV lights.

As a historic home, Casa Linda has its quirks—slightly slanted floors, original woodwork, and a unique character that can’t be replicated. We host because we love this home, and every booking helps preserve its history. Book now for an unforgettable Tucson experience!

Casa Linda in Tucson

This was easily the nicest VRBO we've stayed at in this price range. The kitchen was very modern and well appointed with new appliances. The streetcar two blocks away gave us easy access to downtown and U of A. Matthew was a great host and quickly answered our questions and made suggestions. Walking to the top of "A" Mountain was 4 mi RT. The numerous authentic restaurants within walking distance was a real treat. Thank you Matthew! We loved Casa Linda!

Super Sweet Stay

Thanks Matt for providing a perfect cozy, landing spot for me and my fiancé in Tucson. We loved the dog door, washer, and dryer, and TV in the living room. Our stay was perfectly affordable, and exactly what we needed!

Convenience and character

Loved our week at Casa Linda. Tidy and charming house in one of the many distinctive Tucson neighborhoods. Close to street car so within reach of lots of great stuff: the Mercado and those donuts, Antigone Books, downtown, university. Don’t miss Loft Cinema (not on street car line but worth the drive). Easy communication with host. Thanks, Matt!

Casa Linda is our passion project, and becoming a vacation rental has allowed us to maintain and improve this historic home for future generations to enjoy. We are constantly updating and refreshing the home and furnishings. We love to visit, and hope you enjoy our little Tucson get-a-way.

Why they chose this property

I purchased Casa Linda in 2003 while living in Tucson. At that time everything south of Congress Blvd was a giant dirt lot. It's amazing to have witnessed the trolley and Mercado move in and breathe new life into Menlo Park.

What makes this property unique

A historic home, with mature native landscaping, a terrific front porch, and terrific amenities to enjoy the outside.
