I can’t begin to say how wonderful this property is and how perfect it is for ski vacations. We have been going on an annual ski vacation for several years now, but have never stayed at Yeti house before. Yeti house has enough space to be completely comfortable. The neighborhood is walkable with your dog without worrying about the road/traffic. The yard is a decent size that our Bernese mountain dog had space to go to the bathroom or just lay in the snow. House is exactly as pictured. We had a wonderful, comfortable stay. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone but especially dog owners.
We enjoyed this property immensely. Hosts were easily accessible and willing to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Great location - we highly recommend!
We were in town for cross-country skiing and hanging out with two generations of family friends. The house is really nice, with tasteful and interesting art. We made good use of the kitchen to cook for ourselves, which is well stocked with utensils and pans.We were seven people and worked around one shower--plenty of hot water and towels on hand and an extra half bath when needed. The common areas were great with enough tables and chairs for games, puzzles, and meals. The basement was handy for storing and setting up our gear--we stayed too busy to try out the TV room down there. The neighborhood was quiet and a short drive from both Hurley and Ironwood downtowns (or a walk in other seasons.)Host responded quickly to questions when one of the heating units wouldn't turn on. We would love to come back with a similar sized group.
The hosts were accommodating and very quick to respond to my prebooking questions. The house has a great classic feel. Nice big kitchen where we spent most of our time when off the water. Neighbors were friendly and asked about our fishing successes. Great time had by all. Cheers
This was a wonderful place for our family fun in Ironwood!! It was clean, well stocked, comfortable, and in a great location. Our host was outstanding with good communication and kindness! Thank you for a perfect family weekend!!!
Anyone looking for a home base for outdoor play yet walkable to everything, this isnthe place! They provided everything we didn't even think we needed! Kids and adults had a wonderful time, everyone have their own space and the common spaces were so comfortable and welcoming. Stay here! You won't regret it!!
The house was made for a ski weekend! Workshop in the basement, lots of beds for sleeping, large common spaces, and a great location nearby to many resorts. They provide everything you could need for your stay, it was wonderful. Wish there was one more shower in the lower level bathroom, but the rest was fantastic! Will definitely be back
Large, family neighbor home. Modern conveniences. Clean and very nice place to stay if u have a family. Next to tennis courts and if bad weather many things to do inside (dartboard, table tennis, family games, smart TV and Wi-Fi). Close to a park and Lake Superior.
This house was wonderful!
The family, plus two friends, went up to Ironwood for a four night ski vacation. My first requirement was a home rather than a ski lodge because I no longer ski, therefore, the dog & I would be staying behind to cook meals and simply explore the area. This house was perfect for those reasons! I’ll start with it was quality and obviously updated. The kitchen was more equipped than any other rental we’ve stayed in!! All appliances that you have at home were in this kitchen, which made cooking here fun!
The bedrooms were comfortable & well insulated. I was surprised at the amenities offered as it was thoughtful! The basement rec room was a bonus with darts & a big TV.
It offers a nice backyard, where I was able to play with the dog in a quiet neighborhood. It is close to a tennis court and the little downtown is a short drive.
The ski hills are 10 -15 minutes away, very convenient as we changed hills due to lack of snow, but nothing was far, even a Super Walmart in town.
The only thing that needed changing would be the door handles as they are older & quite noisy, plus no locks on bathroom doors. But this alone would not stop us from returning again for another ski weekend!
Lastly, the owners were very receptive & thoughtful in their answering questions, truly glad we found the Yeti house!
