The house had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bed and pillows were so much better than a hotel. Kevin was a great host and very responsive. Im so glad i found this place!
This is a great property. Immaculate, comfy bed and great location. Easy checkin & checkout. We didn’t cook but it appears every necessity is there. This was close to family and we love the area. We will absolutely look forward to staying here again.
Had an extended stay in Sac and wanted a cute house in a walkable neighborhood and this place was the exact property we were looking for. Very comfortable, clean and bright, kitchen well appointed and the bed was super comfortable. Walkable to tower Cafe, a cool brewery, Marie's doughnuts and Taylor's market. Good parking in a safe neighborhood. 5 stars all the way around
The instructions were clear and concise. The location is amazing, within walking distance of a ton of places. The lodgings were pristine and well stocked with cutlery and cookware. A wonderful stay.
This was everything I needed. The place was more than spacious enough, was very clean, and I could get anywhere I needed to be within 10 minutes by car. I would definitely return. The only minor thing is I wish there was a *little* more hot water in the shower but it was not the end of the world.
Very Clean. Easy instructions for entry and exit. Quiet Neighborhood and conveniently located to many local attractions and airport. Very impressed and happy with the decision in staying at this location rather than a hotel.
Home was great! Neighborhood was super charming. The front steps were super slippery in the rain but that just comes with the territory. Everything else was perfect.
Property is as described. I loved the historical neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay. Our host very quickly took care of a small problem. We arrived early and were so tired... contacted host to see if we could check in about 2 hours early and he was so kind and gracious to say, "of course." That was terrific! The fully equipped kitchen would work well for those that want to cook/ The bungalow was nicely decorated, which please me very much. Highly recommend this listing.
Perfect Oasis for a First-Time Visitor to Sacramento
We had the pleasure of staying at the Spanish Bungalow on Beverly Way from September 4-8, and it was an absolute oasis! The home is gorgeous, impeccably clean, and provides a serene environment perfect for a traveler new to Sacramento, like we were. The thoughtful details and cozy atmosphere made it feel like a true retreat. I would stay here again without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing place to stay in the city.
Everything was a breeze. We were give accurate information on entering the home, how to use the tv, washer & dryer, etc. The location was near coffee places, restaurants, donuts, a bakery, gas stations too. It was such a clean home and well appointed. I would definitely stay again.
I felt relaxed and comfortable in this cozy bungalow. It's in a beautiful neighborhood, close to downtown, parks and the river, and has a gracious host. I have family I visit in Sacramento and this will be my first choice when visiting.
Loved the coziness of this place . Very clean and organize . If you need assistance with anything ,Kevin, the owner resides next door ( the other bungalow).
Loved the neighborhood , close to Sac Downtown , cute cafes , Freeport bakery, authentic butcher shop - Taylor's Market where they sell the best meat and seafood in the area . We would drive to LandPark daily and walked the park . It's only about a 5 minute or less drive to the Park . Saw lots of dogs , people , squirrels while at this 160 acre park . Oh yes , the Sac Zoo is there .
Where do I start? This was the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in - it was spotless and completely equipped. It is also the cutest little bungalow in the most convenient location - literally less than a block from the Sacramento light rail station.
I run the CIM every year and I always use VRBO for my stays. This one wins First Prize! I loved the extra touches and tasteful decor, a fantastic kitchen (I baked some cinnamon rolls first thing - yum!) The location is perfect for me - just one stop away on the train is a Safeway Market as well as a really cool row of hip clothing shops, interior design, brewpubs, coffee, bakery, Ice cream and more.
THE BED is so comfy and the linens are deluxe. One of the nightstand is an old victrola. The light fixture in the dining room is Tiffany-esque and creates a very warm ambience over the round wooden table and 4 chairs.
Kevin is a 5 star owner in my book who communicated with me quickly and efficiently. I would love to stay here again and I highly recommend this bungalow for its quiet and comfort.
We spent most of our trip wine tasting around Napa but this was a very nice place to go “home” to. Perfect size for the two of us. Very comfortable and inviting. Appreciated communications from host Kevin. Very easy access. Secure. Nice area. Enjoyed watching the neighborhood children Trick or Treat:)
We stayed here for close to a week for an IronMan event and it was close to the venue, markets, and eateries. The house was clean, cute, and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again to visit Sacramento.
