It was exactly as expected. Everything was so easy. The area was perfect so close to the beach, and walking distance to the trolley or call Johnny free ride and they will pick you up at your door. Will stay here again.
Quaint place 2 stay! The beach and ocean are beautiful!

Overall a great experience
There was a little confusion with the check in process. Prime location. Easy walk to beach and free transport to SK Village. The condo was clean and very well stocked. We had a wonderful time.

Property description
From the online pictures, it appeared that you would be facing the beach. You could not see the beach or the water from the siesta beach resort. The walk to the beach was only a couple minutes. It says private beach, which it was, but only a small strip of the beach was where you could sit if you were a guest of siesta beach resort. The rest of the beach, on either side, was reserved for the condominiums that were on each side of the resort. There were clear signs that if you were not staying at one of those condominiums, you could not put your chair or umbrellas on their part of the beach. There were loungers and chairs provided at the edge of the beach, but you had to take them all the way down to the water yourself. The beach is beautiful but very big so it was cumbersome to drag the loungers while trying to carry a beach bag and or a cooler. Also, there are rubber bracelets that you are supposed to wear, I'm assuming so people would know that you are from the resort, not the condominiums. You do not need these bracelets for access to the beach, there is a fob for that, so the bracelets are actually pointless. However if you lose one you will be charged $25. There also was only one towel per guest for the entire week. There was a laundry room on site at the end of the building that guests could use and pay for. This was a big inconvenience. The one towel per guest, and having to go to the laundry room at the end of the property, and pay to wash that one towel was odd.
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is super close proximity to the beach and also very close to nearby areas in town for shops/restaurants/bars. The beach is very quiet, not crowded and beautiful. There are not concessions or public restrooms in the direct area, so prepare for that. We brought a lightweight cooler in our luggage that we packed every day. The walk from doorway to beachfront is about one minute with no streets to cross - you walk across the small parking lot of the rental and you are at a sandy walkway that takes you directly to the beach. Beach chairs are provided for free (as shown in one of the photos on the website). Bring your own beach towel, as none are provided. The rental was cute, very clean and nicely spaced out with two full bathrooms. Both bedrooms could use new mattresses that are more comfortable, but not a deal-breaker. A huge perk is that we did not rent a car and never had an issue getting to the "happening" areas of town. There is a trolley that runs through the island and there are multiple options of ride shares that run on tips only. We used the ride shares our whole stay and never waited longer than 5 minutes for a ride. The food and drinks in town were all amazing and very fun places to go. One thing to know in advance is the key fob for entrance to the beach needs to be picked up at the rental office, which is a different location than the property. It's not far - just good to know for planning.
