It is a newly renovated apartment by the main train station in Rome, on the mezzanine floor of a 19th century building (completed in 1885). Travelers with a walking disability should keep in mind that there are 10 steps from street level to the door.
In keeping with the style of the times, the ceilings have maintained their original frescoes and chandeliers, but the renovation project has tastefully coupled the building’s long history with today’s decor solutions and amenities: the final result is a modern space dominated by natural light (notice the big windows!) and the impressive, sleek four-poster bed that occupies one end of the living room.
This apartment can accommodate up to 5 people (using the sofabed in the living room) and has one bathroom featuring a large shower.
The two single beds in the bedroom can, upon request, be joined so as to be used as a double bed.
The kitchen is complete with all the essentials for preparing your meals from scratch, and it includes a washing machine, an oven, an induction stove, a fridge, a Nespresso machine and a microwave oven. Guests will also find a washing machine (no drying capabilities).
The apartment has independent heating, using an A/C system for both heating in winter and cold air in the summer. A free Wifi connection is offered to all guests. Please note that there is a concierge in the building, available during work-hours, for extra security.
