House of the Sun is very popular and in a great location. Please contact me before you reserve, just to make sure that the time frame that you need is available. ASK OWNER A QUESTION before you request to book. It will save you frustration if you ask first. I have other properties on Siesta Key and there can possibly be a booking conflict for the time you require.
This is House of the Sun, Unit 201, Siesta Key.
•House of the Sun is located at 6518 Midnight Pass Road, Siesta Key, Florida 34242
• 2nd Floor Unit #201. I also have another condo at House of the Sun on the fifth floor.
•Reserved parking space is located under the building and you car will be kept cool 24/7.
• Free WIFI
•Master Bedroom, King Size Bed, double mirrored closets, a mirrored vanity area, flat screen TV, private bath with walk in shower, updated, and is very spacious.
•Second bedroom, one FULL and one Twin Bed (2 beds total) and a flat screen TV. The guest bathroom has a shower/tub combination, granite and sliding glass doors for the tub/shower.
•Living Room has High speed wireless internet, Surround Sound Home Theater with i-pod docking station, Blue Ray DVD player and 55'' flat screen smart TV.
•Fully equipped kitchen with a clothes washer and clothes dryer.
•Balcony with two lounge chairs, table w/4 chairs.
•Beach towels, beach lounge chairs provided on our beach by House of the Sun, and beach toys are all here.
•Heated Pool and our own private tennis courts overlook the gulf.
•House of the Sun supplies lounge chairs both at the pool and on our section of the beach. Beach umbrellas are rentable daily or weekly by our beach attendant who will position the umbrellas into the sand for you.
• Weber Gas Grills are supplied by House of the Sun.

Views from the balcony face off to the southwest and there are no tall buildings next door. Although this condo does not offer a view of the gulf, we still have a very nice view facing off towards the southwest and we get a wonderful southern exposure on our balcony all day long.

Our HEATED POOL, and PRIVATE TENNIS COURTS overlook the gulf. During winter season the location cannot be beat, being one block from the Stickney Point Bridge (no long, slow lines on and off the key), and restaurants, bars, grocery, bike rental, drug store, ice cream, 7/Eleven, and much, much more, just across the street from House of the Sun.

Guests of House of the Sun enjoy bringing their evening cocktails and snacks to the FIFTH FLOOR DECK where the feeling is fun and friendly. Long lasting friendships that span the globe have been made from the fifth floor deck at sunset and guests come back year after year to enjoy this wonderful complex.

If you want a stress-free drive-free vacation, away from the public beach but still on the beautiful quartz crystal sands of Siesta Key Beach, this is one to consider.

Location and closeness to the beach is amazing. Walking distance to everything you could need, if not a very short drive will get you whatever else you desire. The unit is nice but could use some updating and a deep cleaning. The property itself seems very old and “well used”, but overall it works. Communication with the owner Debbie is outstanding and she is very helpful with written instructions about everything, she was also very accommodating with a late check out on our last day.

BIG fantastic unit; the building is right on the beach! It had lots of amenities as well as the property. Walking distance to great restaurants. Close to a trolley stop if you wanted a ride to the Village. The only drawback was the view from the balcony. Other buildings blocked the view but the 4th and 5th floor have an outside deck area if you want a view without going down in the sand. Perfect for sunsets!

Great Condo
This is a great condo, even better than advertised. It’s tastefully decorated, fully equipped, extremely comfortable, and superbly located. Donna is a great host, and responded promptly to our two queries. First, the halyard for reserving beach chairs was missing, and second a remote for bedroom tv was missing (not a problem since we don’t watch tv in bed; we just wanted to let her know). One caveat: if like us you’re used to cooking with gas, you might want to do what we do and bring an electric frying pan. The oven and broiler are first rate, but that electric cooktop is a pain. What’s better than advertised is the location. An excellent supermarket is minutes away, and even better, a good French restaurant, Miquel’s, is a block away. (Avoid the house salad, order the Caesar; everything else is really good. Ask for Brendon to wait on you.) Across the street is an oyster house with fabulous fresh oysters and clam chowder. There’s also a liquor store, a small grocery, a post office and UPS, and a 7/11. A fabulous condo. You won’t find better.

What a great place and property manager
I can’t say enough about the house of the sun. The rooms, the access, the pool. This was a great stay that sold my wife on siesta key forever. Donna was so nice and easy to work with. She gave us all of the best details on how to get about and made checking in and out so simple. We also had two other of her rentals through other family members and she took just as great care of them. We can’t thank her enough for letting us enjoy our vacation in her little slice of heaven

The condo is as described. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. The air conditioning along with ceiling fans made it very comfortable. The location is great. Steps from the beach. Thank you Donna for the wonderful stay! Clean condo. Ideal location. Easy communication. I’ve stayed at a few different places in Siesta Key, and House of the Sun is our favorite. We flew down so we had to come with just a few necessities. The condo had extras for us that we greatly appreciated: box fans for the bedrooms, cooler to pack our lunches and drinks, towels for the pool, etc. We will be coming back! My only complaint would be regarding the umbrella rental at the beach - I feel like they needed to be a little more spread out, but that is nothing that would keep us from coming back! BOOK IT!

Right on the Gulf!
This unit has easy access to the gulf, right in front of the building, and a small pool with lots of chairs. Very comfortable for the four of us and easy walk to a few grocery items, alcohol, three restaurants, and a small drugstore.

Great Vacation Condo
My 15 year old daughter and I go to a beach vacation once a year. This condo was perfect for us. The security of the building was very good as you only have access to inside the halls with the key fob for your condo. The condo is equipped with everything you need to cook and feel at home. It’s steps from a nice pool and the white beach sand. The complimentary beach loungers are nice too. The restaurants and bars are right across the street if your feeling social too. Highly recommend this condo!!! We will be back!

Why they chose this property

House of the Sun is an extremely well run and maintained property. And we have all of the conveniences of shopping right across the street. We do not have to deal with the slow moving traffic on the key as we are just off of the south bridge (Stickney Point). Having a condo on the 2nd floor is a wonderful convenience, even with the 2 elevators, we can just walk up one flight of stairs to our condo. We love our place at House of the Sun!

What makes this property unique

Dave and I have been coming to Siesta Key for over 20 years and we love it. We decided to purchase our condo at House of the Sun for so many reasons. First, we really like the location. The complex is on the gulf and one block away from the Stickney Point Bridge. During the busier times of the year, it is wonderful to be able to leave our building, cross the bridge and get to our destination without long, slow lines. We enjoy the large, heated pool the overlooks the gulf, and we love the decks on the fourth and fifth floors. Every evening, guests of House of the Sun love to come up to the 4th and 5th floor decks for sunset. A horn is typically blown from our 5th floor deck just as the sun is disappearing into the Gulf. The deck provides a panoramic view of Siesta Key Beach, and we are one of the very view complexes that have these wonderful decks right on the beach. We love the convenience of being able to walk across the street for groceries at the Crescent Market, cocktails at the Sniki Tiki and dinner at Claytons. Typically, my car stays under the building in my covered parking space for most of my time at House of the Sun. Everything that I need is right across the street, from rentals, to shops, to a variety of eateries, liquor stores, ice cream, pizza, pharmacy, rentals, and the list goes on and on...I simply cannot say enough about the location and amenities here at House of the Sun!
