Relaxing stay in lovely location.

Three generations (11 of us) stayed for several Thanksgiving days. Played cards & games, went for walks & bike rides, cooked & ate meals together. The house and locale was just what we'd hoped: quiet, away from it all, very welcoming, room for all, comfortable and clean. The bay - so close! - was gorgeous even off-season. There were pretty sunsets and crystal-clear stars in dark night sky. Even the rainy day was lovely - view from the cozy indoors can't be beat. Much gratitude for sweet family memories.

We loved the spaciousness of this property and the incredible array of extras, from toiletries to water equipment and inside activities. A hidden gem off the beaten path but close enough to what you need.

Bayfront Family Gathering

We came together, 3 generations, to celebrate a birthday The house easily accommodated all of us, our 2 sons with their wives, children (2 each), and ourselves. We had plenty of space to find solitude and to be together. The extra large and spacious deck and generous living space made being together indoors and outside easy. The house is super well equipped for family visits with kids. Plenty of games and toys for kids of all ages. Kate was extremely responsive and welcoming. from the beginning she answered all of my questions, and made me feel good about the decision to rent her place. We definitely recommend this beautiful home with its beautiful views of the bay to all. Leah and Family.

Absolutely beautiful property

Really a gorgeous property in an equally beautiful location. It is a bit remote from Cambridge so you have to drive to get to the town. The advantage is you're out in the country, right next to the water with stunning views. The deck is enormous and perfect for enjoying a drink and relaxing. You do have to contend with mosquitos, but the host was kind enough to have plenty of bug spray available. We were lucky to have wonderful weather and had an amazing sunset over the water. Kate, the property owner, had excellent communication. If want a large, beautiful house, remote from others in a beautiful setting, I'd highly recommend this one.

What a gem - kids heaven

Beautiful home in a great location. The house is right on the water and great for this wanting to go swimming or kayaking. Great place to watch a sunset. A beautiful property with plenty to do for kids. Kate is an amazing host and was very communicative leading up to the booking which made checking in very easy. Our only regret is that we didn’t get more time to enjoy the area.
