Great Place!

Roomy and uncluttered. Lots of small, but great bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood. Just a 20 walk to King Street and more amenities. Loved it!

Pros & cons

House was nice, beds were comfy! Overall the house was nice, I had to go purchase a broom to keep the floors swept, we may have over looked it. The parking isn't the best, but when we contacted the property owner, he immediately got in touch with us to assist with our concerns. I would recommend this property to anyone and would definitely rent again.

House in progress

House was advertised as newly renovated. It was not. Definitely a work in progress. Dilapidated neighborhood, outside not well kept. Inside disappointing. House backs up to Rt17, very noisy day & night. Noise machine didn’t help. Long walk to king St & nothing much there when you get to King St. we would not rent again.

Good house, listing is misleading

The house is in pretty good shape overall, it seems to be in the middle of renovation, as it could use a fresh coat of paint and better furniture, but the kitchen does seem brand new. The neighborhood is not ‘dilapidated’ it’s just average. An average house in an average neighborhood, but it was clean indoors and the seller was good about communicating and being helpful. If you are expecting something high-end, maybe try elsewhere, but we had low expectations and had a great time. The house is quite literally 30 feet from the highway, and traffic noises are constant. We are used to this so it didn’t bother us and the noise machines did help. Also, it is not a “short” walk to king st. More like 30 minutes, so we drove everywhere. But there is an absolutely adorable coffee shop just across the street from the house, as well as a public park. Overall the neighborhood felt very safe and cozy, and we often saw neighbors outside walking pets and with their kids. I would recommend this place if you are looking for something equivalent to a cozier hotel room, we enjoyed it.
