This property was exactly as listed and what we hoped for. Dawn was absolutely wonderful with the information she provided and the communication she had with us. If you’re looking for a quiet country home in this area during your next visit I highly recommend the stay!

The home is situated on beautiful acreage and is very quiet. The apartment was clean and comfortable. My husband met the owner who is very pleasant. Highly recommend and we would stay again if we are in the area.
We stayed here on our trip from FL to NC.
The country setting and view was beautiful.
Williston is a close by small town. One nice feature is a short rail trail greenway. We did not have our bikes this trip, but next time we stay, we’ll be sure to bring our bikes.
The hosts are vey accommodating and went out of their way to ensure we had a nice stay.
Our nicest VRBO stay so far!
Up front we were extremely pleased and happy with everything. The apartment was advertised true and we knew what we were getting. Very clean and comfortable. I have already recommended it to friends and family.

The apartment is clean, new and tastefully decorated. My wife and I spent two nights here. Super quite in a beautiful country setting. Communication with our host Dawn was effortless. If we could give more than 5 stars we would.
Heavenly place with GREAT location! No one could ask for more while visiting Augusta and the surrounding area. Quaint and quiet. Dawn was always one step ahead in communicating with us. Mahalo nui loa!!!
Dawn was an excellent host! The unit had everything we needed for our extended stay. It has amazing views of sunrise, sunset, and nature untouched. It was so relaxing to retire to the apartment after visiting family. Her fully stocked kitchen and laundry (in unit) made the 21 night stay feel like “home” but tons more relaxing out in the country. Already booked my return trip and shared the listing with family and friends who will also visit the area. Thank you Dawn for your amazing hospitality! See you again soon.
Clean, fresh, new and tastefully decorated. Dawn was an excellent communicator and check in was easy.
The only thing that would have made our stay absolutely perfect would be in the kitchen were just a bit more appointed. Things such as a microwave safe bowl, measuring cup, sharp cooking knife and cutting board would be great. Also salt and pepper would be great.
The apartment from Ms. Dawn was a wonderful experience. The woman is extremely helpful, cordial and kind - she drove my family Buggy around the area and told interesting stories. The environment of this apartment is quiet, peaceful and forest animals in the distance if one likes to watch. As for the apartment it is better than I expected - we have stayed in many places in the US, but this apartment is extraordinary! Equipped with everything you need for longer trips - very large refrigerator, large oven, large cooktop, large microwave. Bathroom equipped with everything you need - it is new, but kept in classic US style. Bedroom - comfortable and high mattress, we were very satisfied. The whole apartment shone from cleanliness and nice smell, the outdoor areas are also very well maintained. I can not but recommend to everyone - we have not been in a better place in the US! Thank you!
Lovely apartment ideally only 10 mins from Windsor Trace
A friend and I stayed at Dawns property for a recent Carriage Driving Clinic at Windsor Trace. The Almost There Retreat was a perfect spot for us. The location is very serene located off a quiet backroad on a generous property.
The apartment itself is clean, bright and spacious. You can tell a lot of love and care went into building the space.
We were welcomed with snacks and some farm fresh eggs. The apartment is stocked with basic spices, ample cooking utensils and appliances.
Despite this being an apartment above Dawns garage, there is a separate entrance and you definitely don’t feel like you’re imposing or sharing space.
If you plan to bring a horse in your trip, Dawn recently put in a brand new paddock. We had a chance to chat and she is adding a shelter/run-in next so your horse would be nice and comfortable.
There is plenty of parking and room to turn around a trailer if needed.
We loved our stay and plan to return. Thanks again Dawn!
