About this property

Harbor Springs A-frame 5 min from town!

The Harbor Springs A-frame is conveniently located just minutes from downtown Harbor Springs but nestled in the trees across from a nature preserve so you get that “cabin-in-the-woods” feel while being close to everything the area has to offer.

The perfect homebase for “Up North” adventuring, the A-frame is only 5 min from downtown Harbor Springs and 15 min from Petoskey, with skiing, hiking, biking, beaches, wineries, restaurants, shops, and the famous “Tunnel of Trees” a short drive away.

Recently renovated from top to bottom to include modern updates—while maintaining the home’s original character and charm—the A-frame features a cozy living & dining room area with a wood-burning stove, a full kitchen, one bathroom, a small laundry/storage room, and two bedrooms. There is a large front porch, a back deck with a table & chairs perfect for outdoor dining, and a firepit area with a Solo Stove out back so you can enjoy a glass of local wine or some s’mores while unwinding after a long day of exploring Northern Michigan.

INDOORS:

The Harbor Springs A-frame has an open concept main level with a living & dining room area featuring a wood-burning stove, a full kitchen, one bathroom, and a small back laundry room perfect for storing luggage, jackets etc. The upstairs has two bedrooms, both with queen-size beds.

A cozy wood burning stove is the perfect complement to snuggle up by, with a glass of wine from one of the amazing local wineries.

OUTDOORS:

The A-frame has a large front porch overlooking the nature preserve across the street, a back deck with table & chairs, gas grill, and a firepit area with a Solo Stove.

The spacious deck out front is the best way to spend a summer evening in Northern Michigan, overlooking the nature preserve just across the road.

The A-frame features keyless entry. The code will be sent to you before arrival.

A car is necessary in this area and the driveway can park up to 3 cars.

Please note that stairs are used both to enter the home and to access the bedrooms.

Nice place for a ski weekend

Stayed here for a ski weekend, cute place about 10min from Highlands and Nubs. The house was well kept and maintained, would stay here again or recommend to a friend.

Bigger on the inside

This is a lovely property with more space than you might suspect from the outside. The furnishings are well chosen to optimize the space and everything was very comfortable (beds, couch, chairs). The country setting was peaceful and quiet. It was a perfect quiet place for our mother-daughter 4th of July getaway. I would mention though that anyone mobility impaired would find the stairs to bedrooms challenging.

A Frame with a view

Great Place for a small family. Remodeled A frame cabin with a nice view. Had everything we needed. Enjoyed a fire every night in the Woodstove after long days of hiking / exploring. Nice location close to trails and cool breweries, golf courses. Thanks
