Lutsen on the lake

Poplar River Condos were perfectly situated for our visit to the North Shore State Parks, breweries and shopping. Enjoyed the short trail around the grounds and our unit's view of Lake Superior.

Beautiful view

This was a perfect place for us. It was our 55 anniversary. The rooms and accommodations were just right for two. The view of the lake is spectacular. We would go back.

Lutsen Poplar River is Superior!

We came in for the Lutsen 99er MTB race. This property could not be better for that event! It was very well appointed, super comfortable with amazing views. If we ever come back to Lutsen, we will try to stay here!!

Cozy, quiet get-away

I stayed at Cascade Rentals for two nights specifically to work on business strategy away from distractions. The condo was clean, quiet, and very cozy with a number of relaxing locations I was able to sprawl my work out and be comfortable.

Great place but no AC

The place is very nice and check in was great. The trail down to the lake was fun to have. The only reason this didn’t get 5 stars was there wasn’t any AC, which I didn’t notice in the posting. This would be great in the winter. The other thing is this unit is right behind the lake walk trail, so you don’t have a lot of privacy

The property was clean and well maintained. For us, we felt the location was perfect. My only change that I would like to see would be a gate and step off the deck. This is because I have a pup and it would make taking him outside much quicker.

Heavenly views, pet hair hell

Great location with Lake Superior views, trail down to the lake and overall nice setup. But the pet hair on furniture and carpets was the worst we've experienced. Clothing, luggage, exercise mats were fur baby hair magnets. I have stayed in many pet-friendly hotel rooms and rentals but this was by far the worst for hair everywhere. A vacuum available to renters might have helped.

Cozy, fireplace, great fall location

Cozy condo on Lake Superior. After returning from hiking we enjoyed the fireplace and view of the lake. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The second bed is a pull out, which was fine for our child, but may not be comfortable for 2 adults.
