House is cute but in a weird area close to apartments. The location is very close to downtown and we used it for the Ogden Marathon and it was a short walk back and forth.
The car traffic was VERY noisy! It was actually hard to believe how consistently and late the noise went. We had to turn white noise on very loud to drown it out.
House is updated with shared walls with other unit. Directions said to use lockbox but we needed to use the keypad. There were no instructions on how to lock the door (hold any button for 3 seconds). We needed to look up the lock online to figure it out.
Couldn’t use wifi because we didn’t know which wifi network to login to. Password was provided but not the network.
Provided bath towels were very small.
The house was comfortable (despite some ants in the bathroom).
Price was great. Beds were clean & comfy.

Memorial Day weekend
Stayed here over Memorial Day weekend with my husband a two girls. We arrived and the outside wasn’t what I thought. There was leftover flooring on the outside table, and what looks like it rained on them, there was an old blanket and some trash. The key pad to get in wasn’t working, thankfully Scott did answer and we got the code to the actual key box. Walking into the house it was super cute. When you walked into the living room you could tell it needed dusting and the couches were used and the one needed cleaned. One corner of the living, the floor was not cleaned and there were ants. Both bedrooms were ok, beds were clean, but there were ants on the floor as well. A towel in the bathroom wasn’t cleaned and had spots in it. I don’t really understand the cleaning deposit due to guests needing to strip the beds and start the dish washer, when the house wasn’t really clean itself. Maybe that’s my bad, I must have not read it when booking.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disappointing + filthy
The door to our unit was unknowingly unlocked, and when I punched in the code, it locked, and would not re-open. The owner (thankfully) answered the phone & was able to to get us in by providing a lockbox code. I have never left a poor review, but this place was NOT clean. The floor was filthy. The living room was unusable because one sofa looked like it was from a frat house & the other one smelled like it was from a frat house. One comforter had a questionable stain on it. The shower had someone else's hair in it, and the bathroom floor had mud on it which I didn't realize until I was stepping out of the shower (wet). There were no wash cloths in the bathroom. I did however find some in the shared laundry room where both machines were full with rugs & bedding. I was able to do my own laundry only after waiting a day & then going ahead and finishing the job of the property manager. I paid a cleaning fee, but used my own time to clean up after the person before me. The location is conveniently close to down town, but the neighborhood is sketchy. A homeless couple dined out front & left their garbage. And one morning we woke up to a homeless persons cart of belongings in the "garage", which is not really a garage, but more of a partial remnant of roofless, windowless structure. There were numerous bugs, on the floor & also in one of the beds, as well as a very healthy spider with quite a web in the hallway. I do not recommend.
Hate negative reviews but here goes. First of all I couldn't find the property the picture on VRBO is different than the actual place. It took 30 mins to find,& there were no lights on outside. I spent the next hour trying the code on the key pad & calling leaving a ton of messages but I still couldn't get into the property! it was hot, I had a car full of groceries and Scott wasn't responding to any of my messages, & yes I left several for him & management. As a last ditch effort before heading to the Marriott I knocked on one of the neighbor's door to see if they knew the owners of the property. Luckily she had a phone # to Celene whom I called & left a message. She called me back apologizing she said it was Scotts birthday and he was away that weekend. I was really upset he could have messaged me a phone # I could call for emergencies. Also in a previous review from Memorial day someone mentioned that the lock pad didn't work, how was I supposed to get in? Luckily, Celene gave me a different code for a box that contained a spare key so we were finally able to get in. The place is cute but dirty, filthy couches, bugs everywhere, toenail clippings, dust bunnies & hairs on the floor. Kid was grossed out I had to clean everything when we 1st got there. As for the area it's not safe there are a lot of homeless around. Shouldn't have had to pay a cleaning fee I cleaned the place myself before & after the stay! No contact made to help or right the wrongs, can't recommend.
