Favorite place

My husband's family reunion has been here since the late 1980s. My children are now grown but still have fond memories of each and every year we have been able to vacation here. It's a lovely property. Well kept up most years and just the right balance of quiet and fun. Love it!

Outdated, tired and overdecorated

If you're looking for upscale or luxury this is not your place. The pool n Jacuzzi areas are well-maintained and the beach is just a hop skip and a jump away super convenient. The condo itself was very very tired outdated n overdecorated. The unit had lots and lots of issues inside from a stopped up sink, no shower head, lumpy beds, dirty pillows to sticky sticky floors It did have everything that you could need for a stay except for a hairdryer more than one bath towel each n no beach towels. Good times were had by all but would not stay here again or recommend it.

Great Property, Wonderful Vacation

This home away from home was really nice. The living room furniture was comfortable and so was the bed. The balcony was nice and we were able to use it even while it rained (2 of the 3 days of our stay). We were able to see the beach from the bedroom and living room. The property allowed us to bring both of our small dogs. We all had a wonderful time.

Relaxing Beach View

We enjoyed the different artwork around the condo and the location was great! The kitchen was stocked with about every cooking utensil you would need. We had an enjoyable stay!

The condo itself not that good.

1st when we entered the condo noticed a smell that reminded me of kitty litter. Went to the balcony and noticed swarms of little flying insects all over the balcony. Went to the local publix and bought febrez and bug spray. Sprayed the unit down with febrez and wife soaked the balcony with bug spray finally got to relax. My mom went and swept the balcony with the broom and picked up tons of cat or dog hair. We did not report any of this because we already paid the money and we stayed gone most of the time. The showers were not good either. The shower heads was more of a misty spray and took long showers to rinse off. The outside of these units are a little dated and needs to be updated. Whoever cleans the units need to spend a little more time cleaning especially when they are pet friendly. The overall property including pools and beach area and the property itself was clean and we did enjoy the stay outside the room. Everyone staying there was nice and maybe the other units were much cleaner but I will not stay here in the future. I did like the location and how quite it was there but for the same price have stayed at nicer units. I hate to give bad reviews because this might have been a 1 time occurrence but in my opinion these are all easy fixes.

Perfect view of ocean

The condo balcony has wonderful views of the ocean and the grounds are beautifully landscaped and maintained. The pools are nice too. We enjoyed walking the beach daily and then spending the remainder of the day either sightseeing or relaxing on the porch enjoying the views. The condo does need some basic updating in the bathrooms but overall, (with the exception of way too much furniture, knick knacks and art work) we suggest the excessive amount of furniture be removed to allow more space to relax. The condo does have everything you need and is clean. It's only a 7 minute drive to downtown St. Augustine and the location of the condo is near everything you need with regard to services and tourist attractions. We would stay here again.

Would stay again - true Florida Condo

Unit is exactly like seen in pictures. Interior is above average and has been updated, nice pictures on every wall, kitchen updated, bathrooms updated. The overall complex is older but well maintained. The complex architect didn't just put up a tall rectangular box - architecture is very unique and added to "feel" of the stay. The grounds are well maintained and wood walkways connect all the units and pools. My kids are early twenties and both agreed it was a "cool" complex. We are from Orlando and have stayed in lots of Florida condo's so for my adult kids to give a thumbs up says something. The buildings are alphabetized, A and B have the best oceanside views, this unit is in building D so it is behind A & B but still has good views from the living room and master. We are used to New Smyrna beach with units right on beach so walk to beach is longer via a nice wood plank walkway but I commend St Augustine for protecting the dunes. Beach was very clean. You only get one reserved parking space and one guest space but on this weekend that was not a problem. TV's are all large flat screens. Did not notice till leaving that they had a Roku box for even more viewing options but who wants to watch TV when at beach! You are on 3rd floor with no elevator but didn't bother us even when bringing all our junk in on first day. There are lots of closets and the in-unit washer dryer was nice to keep up with dirty laundry. Really can't think of a thing to complain about the unit. Thumbs up to Vacation Rental Pros and their mobile APP - we had a minor problem with the vertical blinds and they responded quickly and understood we would prefer they fix after we left. Their App was pretty cool - just be sure to click on the arrows to see full message. I guess we did have one complaint - having to check out by 10am. So last day was not a "last day" but a very quick morning, get up and go. We asked about late checkout and were told it was same price as full day rental - calendar showed it was vacant next day - seems they and the owner should consider that and either offer noon checkout for free or maybe $50-$80 to stay till lunch time.

Amazing!

Expected a nice condo but this one is beautiful! Loved all the space and decor (nicest granite I've ever seen). Being on third floor was not a problem at all; only two flights of stairs and they were easy to climb. Lovely balcony with a great view! Cannot say enough of great things about this place. Easy access to beach and nice clean pools to cool off in at the end of the day.

Great little place...a little retro and perfect view of the ocean! Our A/C broke and it was fixed the next day so we did have one day of hot hot hot! I wish you could just leave your keys in the unit instead of dropping them back at the office.

St. Augustine / Butler Beach

This condo is not your typical "pastel nightmare" like many Florida condos. Furnishings were much more modern, with bold pieces (leather couches, huge coffee table). You are able to view the beach from the balcony, while enjoying your morning coffee. Condo is third floor, so keep that in mind if you are traveling with someone that has limited mobility. There is no elevator, so if you are comfortable climbing stairs, might not be the best condo for you. The kitchen had all the tools needed to cook the fish we caught on our fishing charter. The only thing that was missing from the condo was an iron. My teenager would have liked to press some of her clothes that were wrinkled from the packing. Otherwise, the condo had everything we needed.

St. Augustine

We had a nice stay! The accommodations were good but I feel not quite as nice as the pictures lead me to believe they would be. The walls had previously been wallpapered and instead of properly removing it, someone painted right over top ~ so it was a bit of an eyesore. Friends of ours were staying in another unit in the same building and paid less for a nicer unit, granted, ours had a beautiful view. The balcony was lovely but the furnishings were very uncomfortable ~ pcv tube chairs are tacky. The master bedroom had a very comfortable king bed but the double bed in the other bedroom was terribly uncomfortable. The ice maker in the fridge was great to have. The washer and dryer were small and took a long time to dry but it was great to get home with very little laundry to do. The grounds were well kept and any questions I had for the staff were answered very quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and the easy access to the ocean.

The condo was perfect. It was n't new, but very well designed. The weather waS TERRIBLE. Even the locals were complaining. We did not enjoy our time as much as we could have had the winter temperature been closer to normal.
