Whitefish bayfront- beautiful inside and out

Large, spacious home with beautiful views of Lake Superior. Large, partially fenced yard with lots of lake frontage, bordered on one side by a creek, and with a sandy beach. Lots of sitting areas, big, fully stocked kitchen, laundry, cement patio, picnic table, outdoor furniture, and grill. Ready to be a home away from home.
Large screen TV, wifi, DVD player with DVDs, board games, and books, and printer to keep the family entertained. Kitchen has all of the essentials, plus. Pots, pans, toaster, coffeemaker, teapot, air fryer, electric skillet, and some basic pantry essentials such as olive oil, spices, baking essentials, etc.
Two car garage for your use. Outdoor games (croquet, ladderball, some beach stuff,) available for use in lean-to.
House has wired-in generator.

Relax in Paradise

There’s no stepping over people with all the room and two full baths! Kitchen stocked with everything. Heather checked in to make sure everything was going well. Hope to be back!

Perfect Place for Mother Daughter's Vacation

It was very peaceful and quiet. Spectacular sunrises greeting us each morning. A special treat on our last night was viewing the northern lights. The house was comfortable and clean and has a well equipped kitchen. Heather was very accommodating and helpful. She was easy to reach and quick to respond.

Cute home in the UP

This house was clean and well appointed and the views of Lake Superior were beautiful! It was just my husband and I on this trip but we could have easily had the whole family and then some. Everthing we needed and more was provided. We didn’t have our fur babies with us, but this home would easily and nicely accommodate dogs. The bed was comfortable and both the bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious. Heather was easy to communicate with and I know she would have been quick to help if we would have had any issues. The use of the garage to park our car was a nice bonus. I will definitely look to rent this house again if we travel back to the area!

Best Game in Town

Everything in the listing was exactly as described. The setting is phenomenal ( and close to Taquamanimal!). It was cold and windy yet we stayed warm and cozy in the sun room, the room with quite the view. Special thanks to Heather for keeping track of our trip progress. We could tell that lots of love goes into their home. TMI alert - I poo pooed (pun intended) bidets in general and the upstairs bath in particular, but after YouTubing and reading and using - I AM SOLD! Amazon, here I come!

Amazing!!!

OMG!!! Host and property were way above our expectations. Heather answered all of our questions and was a sweetheart. The house and property were amazing. It was our base for a couple of days showing out of states guests our “Pure Michigan”. Northern lights were out too!!! Can’t wait to go back…

Paradise near Paradise

Spectacular sunrises, well-maintained and well-equipped home, great location. I can’t think of anything that could have been better. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

True Paradise

I could not be more pleased than I am with my stay. The house was awesome. There was so much room and the views are outstanding! I felt completely at home. They have everything first class!!! Being in the house was amazing and restful! Being outside was a dream. The whole stay was what you dream about!!! I have rented house/cottages for fifteen years and none of them equaled this house and I stayed in some very nice places. I was sad to leave but happy for my experience there!

Best House Ever!!!

This beautiful home in Paradise, Michigan is truly paradise. The house was perfect for our stay. Everything was exactly as stated by the owner. We loved the little extra things the owner had left there for our enjoyment. The setting with Lake Superior in your front yard was the perfect way to begin or end your day! Communication with the owner was excellent. We would definitely rent again if available .

Beautiful!

Such a great, peaceful, like living in seclusion with the lake just steps away. Different sitting areas of the house to visit, be alone or chat with family. Sunrises, campfires, rising moon and late night swims all available to all! Hope to return! Thank you Heather!

Fantastic House

If you’re looking for somewhere to stay that’s got a great view of the lake, is located close to trails and parks, isn’t in a crowded area, and feels like your own home then this property is for you. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and their property was very well maintained and cared for. There was plenty of space for our family of seven to spread out and relax either inside or out and not feel like we were in the way of one another. The view of the sunrise every morning was amazing either from on the beach or sitting inside looming out the huge windows. The location was great for visiting the Falls, Whitefish Point, and not long of a drive to Sault Ste Marie or even to Picture Rocks. The property was well maintained and most anything you could think of needing in the house was provided for by the host and it feels as if you haven’t left your own home when staying here. This is a location I would book again in a heartbeat if I were heading up to the UP.

Bayside haven

This was a great choice for us. We were here for bird watching but have our canine kids with us as well and this was wonderful for them. Spacious fenced in yard was amazing. House had everything we needed. The views are spectacular and the house had all we needed. One minor utensil had gone missing between our stay and some previous stay but that didn’t impact us at all. Heather and Aaron could not have been better to communicate with and to help with information and arrangements. There house was so well set up for the dogs as well. Really appreciated the effort into making this accommodating.

Quick weekend get-a-way

We had a great extended weekend staying at the Whitefish Bayfront property in April 2024. Easy access with a little drive to Whitefish point and Tahquamenon Falls. The house was beautiful and quite spacious. The fenced in yard was great for containing our dog and children. One downfall was that we had to use the heat while staying and the floor grates get extremely hot that could cause a burn. This made it a little challenging from keeping our 1 year old from wanting to walk across them. We also were hoping to catch seeing the northern lights (not knowing if the cloud coverage or kP index was going to be in our favor or not); however where the house is located, there is still quite a bit of light pollution but the few nights we had clear skies, there was still plenty of stars to gaze at. Spending time in the UP in April was fun, definitely still in the off season time period which meant fewer people and less open shops- so just prepare if planning to travel here at this time. We also planned ahead in bringing our carhartts too for the chilly nights!

Relaxing time.

Well maintained. The home heating was a little unusual. Took us a little while to get it figured out. We understood it was a retro-fit home and probably the best option for the property. Beyond the initial learning curve it was a great place. Beautiful views and a nice location. I would like to thank the owner for access to the attached garage. It was very helpful having access to it.

Fall getaway

Location is fantastic, very clean and a well stocked kitchen. Beautiful views of Lake Superior. Quiet. Lovely family and friends place to stay. Great things to do in the area.

Staying at this lakeside cabin was a treat.

Not only was this cabin convenient and affordable for our family of 8, it was also lovely. We needed a simple landing spot to explore Whitefish Point and Tahquamenon State Park. This house offered plenty of room for our 6 kids to play inside and out in the evenings and waterfront access. Visiting in early fall meant we missed the worst of the summer insects but still caught enough warmth for the brave among us to swim in the lake. My kids especially enjoyed the Black Creek next door. A simple fire pit and backyard swing provided for some quiet evenings for my husband and I after the kids were asleep. We caught the moonrise over the lake
