Amazing view! 2 Bedrooms, pool table, BBQ, patio!
Come relax in your own comfortable private apartment in entire lower half of a large home high on the hills in the West Valley area. It is serene, quiet and comfortable with expansive views of the entire valley. Wake up to see the Ahtanum Hills and Mount Adams.
Enjoy hiking/mountain biking in Cowiche trail right nearby. Great restaurants, breweries, wineries and live music.
The space
Down the stairs on the left side on the outside of my house you'll find your own private entrance to the entire lower level of my home where there is a good size kitchen/ dining area, breakfast bar, pool table, sofa, fireplace, TV, wi-fi, covered patio with patio with dining table and chairs and BBQ and a beautiful view. Kitchen: refrigerator,/freezer, microwave, infection stove top with convection/ toaster oven, diswasher, Elite Keurig, French press, hot pot, teas, coffee pods, a Britta water pitcher in the frig. Some fruit, milk, cereals and pancake mix, a smiley face pancake maker for the kids, syrup, butter, BBQing condiments, pots and pans for cooking. A large box of games for kids and adults available to use.
One dog allowed on a case by case basis for a one time $75 charge. PM me or call to discuss.
In one private bedroom there is a queen size bed tastefully furnished with a TV. In the other bedroom is a full size bed and a twin trundle bed perfect for 2-3 people and families. There is a large sofa in the living room with TV and internet. If needed There is a roll away twin bed. Please note that Kids under 18 are free without extra charge. $25 per night per adult if there are more than 2 guests. ( children 12 and older count as guests).
Please note that my place is not completely baby proofed such as the outlets etc. There is a high chair available to use on the breakfast bar counter. There is also a travel crib in the bedroom for infants.

Adult Guests may use the pool table. (Older childen may use with adult supervision.)
Other things to note
Parking is limited. 1-2 cars allowed. Quiet hours are 10 PM to 6 AM. M-F and 11-7 on weekends.

About the host
Your host
Hello and thank you for staying with us here at Englewood Crest Nest. We bought this home with the intention of sharing with visitors to a Yakima a quiet, relaxing, safe and homey place to stay. The view of the Ahtanum Hills you see from my property are the hills I grew up near as a young girl. I have lived in Alaska running a fishing lodge so being a BnB host sort of comes natural to me.
I am a music teacher and performing singer/songwriter. I have a 2 year old grandson that I love to play with. I love to cook and entertain friends and walk my sweet dog Marry. A 55 pound Griffon poodle mix that you will never know is around. She's very quiet and never barks. If you meet her by chance when we are going out for a walk feel free to pet her. She is a gentle sweet dog that everyone adores.
Why they chose this property
This neighborhood is one of the nicest views of the whole valley . You can see Mount Adams, the Ahtanum Hills all the way to downtown Yakima. I love the old growth trees here which allow for all kinds of birds to visit. Quail, Red Tail Hawk, finches, robins, Stellar Jays and owls. You might see our neighborhood bunnies running around as well. Everything is 10 to 15 minutes away which makes for a much easier lifestyle than the hectic pace of the Seattle area that I was at prior to buying this home.
