The house was comfortable and well-equipped. We spent most of our time off the property enjoying the lake, but it was a good place to come back to at night.
The house provided multiple areas for being alone or as group; living room, huge den, sunroom, large deck, front porch, and the yard!!
Handrails in the tubs would have made the perfect touch to this wonderful house!
We stayed for a long weekend at Pat's place. It was plenty of room for our family! The owner was very responsive and helpful with anything we needed. Easy drive to rent a boat or fish. Grill and back deck were perfect also!
Wonderful stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Pat’s Place! Our family enjoyed many meals out on the spacious deck . We enjoyed watching and hearing the wildlife. A great yard for games like badminton, frisbee, sling shot glow in the dark “spinners”. Plenty of room for our adult children, spouses and grandkids. We liked the private location and spectacular view of the night sky. Our host was easy to communicate with regarding questions , needs and places to visit/eat. We did not get a chance to take the kayaks out on the lake behind the house…maybe next time. Would highly recommend for family “get always”. Sharon and Phil
House was very private away from everything. Just what we were looking for. It did rain the entire time, but we had plenty to do. The house has everything for your daily needs. The back porch and screened in porch overlooked the lake and spacious back yard. More than enough room for our family and plenty of room for eight people. Wish the weather was better to see if there was fish in the lake. The hosts made sure we were comfortable and communicated well. We would come back for another stay.
The house was lovely, nicely furnished and the perfect size for us. It was quiet and exactly as pictured. It was close to the water but the reason for 4 stars and not 5 was that the water was pretty much inaccessible by kayak or paddle board. I understood there was no dock and I’m comfortable launching watercraft from shore. But the shoreline was so overgrown, there was no way to wade in. Luckily I had family renting a house 5 minutes away and they had a dock that we used. With a dock, I would for sure rent again but not without a better way to access the water.
The property manager was very responsive, friendly and concerned about everything, actually awesome. The pool was wonderful. The location was exactly what we required. The kitchen was very well equipped. The linens, bathrooms and kitchen were clean however my lower rating for cleanliness is because there were too many personal items in the home that collect dust. The closets, bureaus and kitchen island needed to be empty for me to put my belongings so I could unpack. We would rent this house again if it was decluttered.
