Beautiful home tucked back in a quiet neighborhood, and it was a perfect stay for my bridesmaids before my wedding down the street. Only issue was there was not a single shade or curtain on the windows, so if someone was in the yard or a car drove down the street, they could see into the bathroom or bedrooms, which made bathing or changing a little precarious.
Lovely home, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean in a very quiet area, was just what we wanted for our long weekend stay. Very responsive owners to our early questions.
House was very clean and centrally located to Busch Gardens and shopping. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 1 child. Would stay again. Owner was very quick to respond to messages.
The property exceeded our expectations! Private, plenty of room for everyone to find a nook to do their own thing and the kitchen/great room is where we all hung out together. Cooking thanksgiving dinner when it's not your kitchen can be a challenge but our hosts went above and beyond providing everything we needed. Williamsburg, Christmas decorations at Busch Gardens and Jamestown is where we spent our time. But so much more to see! Stephanie and family could not have been kinder or more responsive In answering questions (pie dishes, roasting pans to mixer) before and during our stay. We'll be back for sure.
6 of us, all high school classmates, visited Williamsburg for 4 days in November. This home was perfect for us! Beautifully decorated, fully stocked kitchen, located about 8 miles from the center of town. Would highly recommend!
There were 7 of us that got together for a weekend shopping trip. The house was perfect. Each of us were able to have our own bed. The bonus room in the third floor was a surprise bedroom. We played games, had a bonfire and walked down to the end of the street for a beautiful view of the water.
Our family truly enjoyed our weekend stay at Town + Country. We particularly enjoyed the fact that the many historic sites were only minutes away. We made the trip to give our kids the opportunity to see Jamestown, which they have been learning about in school...then we added a trip to Busch Gardens too! The home was perfect for our family. It is a lovely home that is well-maintained and is located on a spacious private lot. We would stay there again, no question!
Wonderful stay at this charming home, with a new addition of an outdoor deck. Communication with Stephanie, the host, was delightful, and she is easy to talk to and provided us with quick check-in instructions. There was a concern when we heard that the freezer was broken. It was quite obvious the reason it had not been replaced since it was an enormous stand-up freezer, which most likely has to be ordered. The host provided a wonderful replacement freezer and even included ice cream treats, welcome coffee, and tea. Connection to Wi-Fi, was no problem. The children really enjoyed playing in the upstairs playroom, well stocked with toys, games, and books. There are no curtains on any of the windows. I would suggest putting shades in the master's bathroom upstairs, not because neighbors can see you since the house is surrounded by thick woods but from additional guests who like to sit outside at night. We did not contact the host about no shades because the house is described exactly as it was displayed, except there was no highchair. There is a booster chair that you could slide up to the table for a toddler. Probably there's no space on the listing of amenities for booster seats only high chairs. The hosts were very helpful and even bought a new outdoor table set and even put it together for us to use for additional outdoor seating. Stephanie provided us with information about the town, which we found very helpful. The house is beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay.
We really enjoyed the location and quiet area. Perfect spot for a family stopping in the area for the park and sightseeing. Very clean and the host was amazing too.
Guys trip to play golf in New Kent County to celebrate my son’s upcoming wedding in October. Beautiful property and host made sure we were taken care of, the muffins and ice cream treats were a touch of class!
The house was beautiful and had a lot for the kids to do on rainy days. There were plenty of board games, Xbox, Xbox Kinect and toys. The kids loved having their own space on the 3rd floor. The hostess was quick to respond and very pleasant to work with. Minor issues I wish we knew prior to booking was that there was no WiFi and the freezer was malfunctioning so our frozen treats were melted. Some small tips for the homeowner is bathroom garbages and curtains at least on the bedroom windows would be appreciated. Waking up with the sun was not part of my plan on vacation. Overall, we had a great trip and would still highly recommend after a few minor additions
Great stop on the way the Sandbridge. Location was awesome. Private beautiful lane in Charles City. Minutes from attractions. Hosts were great to work with and provided all the comforts of home. We will be back again!
