About this property

Magnolia Pine Mountain Retreat

Welcome to Magnolia Pine; a mountain retreat. This cozy, newly updated log cabin with awe inspiring mountain views and high-end amenities sets the mood for an intimate get-away in the Smoky Mountains. The cabin fits 5-6 comfortably in two bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed with an en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a twin. In addition, an air mattress is available for an additional guest if needed. The guest bathroom is a few feet from the second bedroom and has both a shower as well as a jacuzzi tub.

Relax in the living room with a good book, listen to music on the bluetooth speaker, or watch your favorite movie, all while a fire crackles in the impressive stone fireplace. The wrap-around porch is a great spot to start your day; sitting in a rocker with the fresh mountain air or ending the day while watching the sunset over the mountain ridge.

During the day, visit charming and historic Bryson City located just 10 minutes away. There, you can access the famous Smoky Mountain Railway; a scenic train ride through the Great Smoky Mountains, or enjoy the many local shops, cafes, and breweries downtown. The Smoky Mountain National Park, the most visited national park in the country, is a beautiful 30 minute drive where you can hike, fish, picnic, horse-back ride, kayak, and so much more! Cherokee, NC is also less than 30 minutes away, where you can enjoy all the excitement and festivities that Cherokee has to offer. Finish the day by making s'mores in the newly added fire-pit or relax while sipping champagne in the hot tub under a canopy of Bistro lights.

We also strongly recommend traveling in a vehicle with higher ground clearance to navigate the terrain more easily. Low clearance vehicles will not be able to access certain cabin roads including The Watershed Resort.

To ensure the sustainability of our beautiful mountain environment, we kindly ask all guests to use water mindfully during their stay. Please limit shower times, turn off the tap while brushing your teeth, and report any leaks immediately. We also encourage the reuse of towels and linens to reduce water consumption. These small actions help preserve our natural resources and keep the mountains pristine for future visitors.
Run the washer sparingly.
Only run the dishwasher when it's full.
DO NOT wash your car.
Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to your visit!

Attention: Active Wildlife in the Area
Our area of WNC is currently experiencing increased wildlife activity, particularly from bears. While it’s a privilege to share our environment with these magnificent creatures, it’s essential that we all take precautions to ensure our safety and theirs.
Please follow these guidelines:
Secure all food and garbage: Bears are attracted to strong smells. Do not leave food in your car and reattach bungee cords to trash can lids every time.
Be aware of your surroundings: Stay alert, especially during dawn and dusk when wildlife is most active.
Avoid close encounters: If you see a bear or other wildlife, maintain a safe distance and do not approach.
Travel in groups: When possible, hike or explore with others, and make noise to alert animals of your presence. Keep dogs leashed at all times.
Your cooperation is crucial in maintaining a safe and harmonious environment for everyone. Thank you for your attention and care.

Fun getaway

We loved the incredible cabin experience! The branching country road was extremely well maintained and added a magical feeling to the experience of our mountain trip! We took along our Honda 1000 side by side and never had to leave the mountain side neighborhood exploring all over the dirt roads that made up the community neighborhood. It also was a perfect distance to Bryson City.

Family love in the mountains

We rented this cabin last minute for a family get away and our 9 yo son’s birthday and we couldn’t have been more happy with how it all turned out. The cabin was just the perfect distance from town that it felt like we were all alone yet with the comfort of close local with all we needed. The place was warm, beautiful and all we could of asked for. We had such a good time that we are planning another trip some day soon. The host did an amazing job making it easy and comfortable from check in to check out. Than you for this special opportunity we all enjoyed.
