3 - Good

The cabin was clean and met our basic needs for the 2 night stay. Areas of improvement would be to: 1) update the instructions for the thermostat, as the instructions are for a different type of thermostat than what is in the cabin. The thermostat was not working on Monday morning, but did work eventually. 2) the queen bed that has the foam mattress is extremely uncomfortable. None of my family could sleep in it. I would strongly recommend replacing it. Thank you.

Family gathering

I booked this property to accommodate members of extended family who were able to stay after a large celebration of life gathering. The facility was what a cabin in the mountains should be. It was comfortable. It accommodated family members very comfortably. The porch made for a nice place to relax. The cabin was sufficiently equipped for our short stay. Owners made their mountain home inviting to outside guests.

Alpine Haus - Big Bear

Nice, quaint and rustic cabin. Property management was behind and late in cleaning the cabin. That made the check in unpleasant. Overall great location!

We liked the warm feeling that we got from this nice cabin. We could tell that a loving family had lived here. The decor is a bit rustic but to be expected. We will stay here again.

Nice location, home is o.k.

The VRBO listing doesn’t make it very clear that your renting through Cool Cabins a property management company. They never provided information after the booking process until I reached out through VRBO and then provide minimal information. The cabin is in a nice neighborhood and conveniently located. Not super clean and the shower diverter was broken so you could only use bath tub spigot.

The cabin was beautiful and well taken care of. It was clean and had all needed for a great stay.

The cabin was great, unfortunately there was a neighbor behind the property that arrived turned on obnoxiously loud RAP music and began screaming and ranting about God and the scripture. It went on for an hour.

Great Getaway

The Alpine Haus was comfortable for the four of us. Everything was in working order, except the wine opener! We called about it, and someone delivered one to us within the hour! Property was clean and neighborhood was quiet. I was a bit anxious about the drive out of the Moonridge area, seeing as how we woke on Monday to nearly 7 inches of new snow. The driveway was not on at an angle to the road, so it was an easy exit. Even the drive down the (Moonridge) hill was manageable with 4WD.

Only there for a day, but enjoyed the nice cozy cabin and its surroundings!

The cabin was perfect for our last minute trip. It felt kind of like going to visit grandma’s house with the 70’s decoration and had that feeling of warm welcoming. The kitchen was well supplied, but fire place did not work well. The rooms are nice and cozy. Overall we did have a good time and will definetely come back for more days.

Perfect family cabin!

Cabin was great! Only ‘issue’, which is very minor, the kitchen could use more lighting as the light above the sink wouldn’t turn on. Otherwise we would happily stay there again! They had everything you would need & was a great location. Cute decor too!

Best Weekend with the kids!

I stayed with my 8 and 11 year old kids for the weekend. We snowboarded on Saturday for 6 hours and to come back to the awesome cabin was great! The staff that checked us in on Friday night were kind, courteous and very helpful! We will be staying again!

alpine haus cabin was okay

A few things that really need to change. The family pictures all over including the bathroom, the shower head was awful and reminds me of gym class in junior high, the front door handle was coming off as well as a towel rack in the bathroom and the cooking equipment was very cheap. Other than that the cabin is okay but probably wouldn't be my next selection.
