Great location and cabin. A couple of minor things need some work but other than that a great place.
Main floor bedroom toilet didn’t flush well and some kitchen lightbulbs and basement bathroom bulbs need replaced. Other than that this is a super cute cabin and a great location!
We have a group of friends that take an annual motorcycle trip with every year in August. We have been all over the Country throughout the years. This was our second trip to the Black Hills. Our stay this year was fantastic. The house, location and overall stay was way beyond my expectations. What a trip we had this year. I'm already looking forward to next year.
Thank You.
beautiful location.
We had an amazing stay. We did have to call to get check in information because we did not hear from the host by the 5pm checkin time. Other then that it was an amazing place to stay.
This is nice cabin, with plenty of room for our family of ten. The bedrooms are nice sized, as is the kitchen. We wished the living area had more seating - there is only one sofa & one chair. Likewise, there is not much seating or dining furniture on the deck.
We did have a problem getting into the property. The door code and instructions were incomplete, and we were unable to get into the cabin. The property manager did not immediately respond to emails and texts. We finally were able to track down a phone number for the company's office, and a different person drove down from Rapid City to let us in. This left us sitting and waiting on the deck for an hour.
Once we got in, we were happy with the cabin for the rest of the weekend.
If you are looking for clean, well maintained, quiet, and comfortable, this is the place for you! Well-outfitted kitchen; quality furnishings throughout the cabin in great shape. Lovely, updated decor without clutter. Spacious for our group of eight adults. We hope to return.
A very nice property and stay. Improvements needed would be to have fans in all bedrooms & living spaces. We were there when it was very hot 90's & with no air conditioning in the house there should be fans. The only other item is to have ample toilet paper & some paper towels in the house. I would definitely recommend this property as a great place to stay in the Black Hills.
Pictures don’t fully capture what a spacious home this is. Four large bedrooms. The lower level is great for kids to hang out. The kitchen allowed several people to work together at once. We loved sitting on the porch watching deer. The host was super responsive.
Property was beautiful. The location was great close to town, but out enough to feel private. Wildlife was seen daily. Clean with everything we needed. We cooked daily using grill or kitchen. The manager was great to work with. No air conditioning, which was ok for our stay since temps were cooler. Suggestion would be to put some kind of table on a lower level. I would definitely stay here again
This was a great house for 10 people(6 adults and 4 kids) with plenty of space. It had everything we needed. It was outside of town in a nice quite neighborhood but not too far out that you couldn’t go to town if you needed something quick. I was also very close to all the attractions we came to see. We would stay at the Custer cabin again!
