There were four of us, three staying all 3 nights and one staying just one night. Cottage was charming and well appointed. Neighborhood was quiet and a great place for those who don't want to stay in the middle of the action, like us. I would have liked to be able to check out a little later than 1030. I would stay again.
The property was adorable, the neighborhood is well loved by locals and tourists alike. Walking distance from many eateries and a local park, we enjoyed our stay.

Doll House Row
Perfect for a small family. For a weekend. No extras in this home. Very rustic. Very outdated.
No modern living here except the smart tv. Everything worked. Five stars to the neighborhood.
The charm of the homes are impressive on doll house row.
We had a lovely stay in OC in this cute “dollhouse”. Each room had an AC unit which kept the house cool even in the high heat. The beds were comfy. The kitchen is small but decently equipped. The stairs are quite steep and narrow, so just to be aware if you have mobility issues or very young children who don’t do well on stairs. The host was responsive. The street is quiet and cute. It’s about a 10-15 min walk to the beach or a second drive. We would stay again!
Communication is great. We enjoyed the location on the bayside. It was an easy walk to the boardwalk and beach. It was also close to restaurants and grocery. It is cozy but the value is right on. We will be back.
My wife, 15-yr old son and friend loved our weekend stay in this convenient, quaint home that was perfectly located and so easy to arrange. Our expectations were exceeded in that this was very easy to park, great location away from the noise of the beach and boardwalk and yet super convenient to get there in a couple minutes walking or driving. Having Mario's pizza a 2" walk, the bay and just a great neighborhood (with sidewalks) surrounding it was really great. We like older homes and this one fit that bill. We also don't want a McMansion and if that's your need, this is not the house for you but it's more than comfortable, well-decorated, has everything you could need, amazingly convenient and really just a place we were perfectly looking for. We will ABSOLUTELY be coming back. Additionally the host was very accommodating with some requests and very quick to respond
The house was cute and cozy, and sits on a quiet street. It is a short walk to the bay where you can see the sunset each evening. You have to be careful when going up and down the spiral staircase to the second floor. It is a compact space especially the bedrooms but overall we had a comfortable stay.
We enjoyed our stay. Lovely, quaint neighborhood and very nice, helpful neighbors. The home was as it had been pictured in the VRBO listing. Some things I would fix: front door was very hard to open, key would not always turn; shower curtain & window curtain arrangement could be changed so curtain did not stick to you! The home could be a bit cleaner. And some cosmetic changes could be made to show this home as the gem it truly is. They don’t make them like this anymore!
All in all, we had a very lovely time.

Not a comfortable stay
First, the location of the place is great and the home was clean. Tracey, the host, was nice and met us at check in. However, there were several issues which made the stay uncomfortable and we would not stay again.
In our party, we had 4 adults: my wife, me, and another couple. The property is described as being able to comfortably fit 4 adults, and the overall picture is a comfortable stay. This is not the case. Of the two bedrooms, one is small with a queen bed, which could sleep two adults if they sleep in the same bed. However, there is no central AC, and the window AC unit is right next to the bed and is loud which makes it hard to sleep well. The room is hot and stale without running the AC; the tower fan does help some.
The other room is tiny and has a full bed plus twin bunk bed stuffed into it. The other couple tried to sleep in that room but were unable to sleep due to a combination of dust, stuffiness, and a loud window AC unit. They ended up getting a hotel room rather than stay in that room.
Between all of us, we slept badly each night. The rest of the house is fine, just very small. Overall, I’d recommend that a max of 2 adults stay in the home, and if there is another option, I’d take that one. The lack of central AC and airflow makes the home quite uncomfortable. The description online did not communicate the lack of proper air conditioning, the loudness of the window AC, and only being able to fit 2 adults.
