Great little house tucked away right outside the city. Surrounded by trees and nice homes. Host was amazing, easy to reach and quick to reply. Answered all my questions and helped with anything that came up being my family and I were there for 6+ weeks.
Beautiful old home, but we were NOT told we would have to share the property. They had their own space, but their pot smoke stunk up the entire house. Ugh! It should have been STATED in the property's description that the property was shared.

seemed great but......
It wasn't made clear that there was a "lower unit" occupant is the house. It was really only mentioned in the description of where to park. "the driveway to the left is for the lower tenant" They were very noisy... loud music (1am), dogs barking etc. I finally text the owner (at1am) to do something about it. Apparently the lower part of the house is also being used as a VRBO. I only realized this when yet another person was checking in as we were leaving. If this were made clear I would have never booked this location. I wanted it for its privacy and it was far from private.
Also the house was dirty and musty. I spilled some water on the floor... the paper towel was black with dirt when I wiped it up. Yuck.
EVERYTHING THAT WAS ASKED ON THE ABOVE QUESTIONS WAS ANSWERED TO THE POINT. MY THOUGHTS ON THE STAY WAS THEIR WAS NO INFORMATION SHEET FOR US. YOU HAVE A FIREPLACE BUT NO INFORMATION ON HOW TO USE IT. THE TV WENT ON IT'S OWN MAYBE A TIMER. AND NO INFORMATION ON HOW TO USE THE TV. I REALLY LOVED THE LOCATION OF THE HOUSE SUPER QUIET WHICH I LOVE. AM GLAD WE CHOOSE YOUR RENTAL FOR OUR TIME IN OKLAHOMA CITY. JOANNE

Host needs to be honest of property and its shortcomings.
I received information that implied someone may reside in the lower level. I sent a message to inquire if the entrance or levels are connected in any way- do they have access? I was informed the following by host/owner,
“ Thank you for booking. The lower level is a studio with its own entrance and driveway. It is not accessible and they do not open to each other. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thank you.”
This was not true. The person below us was VERY respectful to out privacy, however his/her door was open the the main hall of this home (meaning they could have access to your belongings) and near the 2nd bedroom. Our main bedroom door would not close all the way. If you walked in a towel from bathroom to either bedroom, there was no door to lower level to not embarrass the person in studio if he/she walked in their door! Host was not forthcoming. The back patio screen is missing. It would have been better to be introduced to person living below than to be lied to when asked if the two levels were open to each other. (On side note : not recommended for someone one not able to tolerate musty smells
My husband and I were renovating our home so we needed a place to live for a couple of months and luckily found the place we wished we were actually living. It’s just off the main drive but has a feeling of being in the country with lots of trees and homes spaced far enough away that you feel isolated in the right way while being close to everything you need in the city.
The little neighborhood is full of family-friendly people and it’s a safe place to stay.
The home has everything you need including a beautiful stone fireplace in a living room that if walls could talk, you would love to know their story. It’s an older home, it’s not perfect but yet it is.
There is not a book of silly rules, so use your common sense. The owners were easy to communicate with, if anything was needed, otherwise we figured out how to work the gas stove and make the fireplace actually work. We enjoyed our time there, especially sitting on the North patio admiring the views while listening to the birds sing.
This unique home will be remembered, it’s a special one.
