Enjoy a unique, spacious, and stylish experience at this centrally located place right next to Tingley Beach duck pond, the Albuquerque Bio Park Zoo and walking/biking trails by the Bosque. The property is also located close to Old Town Albuquerque. We offer complimentary snacks, tea and coffee! This Casa has a life size arcade game! You can even relax and enjoy a dip in the private HOT TUB! (The property is shared with two other houses, however each house has its own private backyard and private amenities!)

Better than advertised. Hot tub was clean, house is cute and easy and it’s right across the street from Bosque trails and near downtown and great Barelas attractions. Will rebook!

Great place, close to Old Town

We enjoyed our stay at Prickly Pear. The place was very clean and had nice amenities that other properties sometimes don't offer (like snacks at arrival, robes for the hot tub, waters in the fridge). The owners were very helpful and quick to answer any questions and checked in through email to make sure we had everything we needed.

Great spot and fine location

The home is in a central area that is convenient for almost every activity. There is a wonderful jogging/biking path that runs the length of the Rio Grande right next door—a great space for our pooch, too! There are security gates and helpful remote controls, and communicating with the owner was quick and helpful. A great hot tub on a very cold evening. The price point and no extra dog charge was an added bonus.

We loved this house! The location was great, right next to a park with a lot of trails and events in early December. The house has everything we needed for a 4 day stay, including a designated parking spot for our rental car and a hot tub. We would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable, Quiet and Cozy stay

Stayed 1 night while traveling with a pet. The house is very quiet despite being in a busy neighborhood. Did not hear any traffic or neighbors which made for a restful night. The home was clean and well organized. The hosts went above and beyond, providing a snack basket, and games. Overall a great stay.

Loved our stay here! Home was clean. Host was great with communication. Hot tub was clean as well. They have a dog waste stand in the front. And it was a gated property. Would 10/10 recommend!

Very nicely furbished home with cool amenities! The only item to look into - - in one of the bedrooms, the bed is very squeaky - - may need a new mattress! It's the room towards the back of the home.

Excellent experience all around

I highly recommend staying at Jon and Kendra’s Prickly Pear location - or any of their other properties. This place was nicely furnished and had every amenity you can imagine. It was very clean. We didn’t use the hot tub but it sure looked inviting. Check in and out couldn’t have been easier. Hosts responded quickly each time I had a question. The property felt very safe. Plenty of off street parking. The location is close to downtown with excellent restaurants. Also a manicured trail is at the end of the block if you’re into hiking or biking. The zoo and botanical garden are also just a short distance. This place will not disappoint. I would definitely go again.

Hot Tub and Chill

The home is excellent. Wonderful touches throughout. Used the hot tub every night. Home was very comfortable and perfect. Walking distance to the zoo and park was excellent. The surround neighborhood is pretty rough as far as some concerning seediness but that seems to just be how the biopark area is. The motorized gate at the entrance kept us feeling safe. Overall we very much enjoyed our time here.

Clean, relaxing and close to everything!

We loved our stay! The cottage was quiet and relaxing, while still being close to Albuquerque's historical district and downtown. The hot tub was just right, and the host was extremely responsive to our requests. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Albuquerque!

Love this place!

We chose the house because we could walk to the zoo from it but we will be back because of the special touches the hosts provide such as robes for the hot tub, the art and decor, and cold beverages in the fridge when you arrive. It is such a cute house with a great small yard to relax in. Thank you!

Easy to feel at home

This is a great little property with charm and amenities. We enjoyed the thoughtful decorations, the hot tub, the kitchen, and lounging on the sofa. The hosts are lovely and very good communicators. If, like us, you wonder about ingredients, the bath products at the time of our visit were the brand Marula Soul. There were plenty of towels. Bathrobes provided were a nice touch and useful. The back yard area was lovely day and night. We enjoyed the custom art mural. This property seems to have a number of vacation rental units all around each other, presumably owned by the same people. Our neighbors were always courteous. If you're a light sleeper, choose the master bedroom to avoid being woken by other guests dogs or street noises.

I had a wonderful stay here. The interior is decorated to create a cute cozy atmosphere! The property is gated and feels secure. Hosts were easy to talk to and responded quickly :)

Great Property

Property was easy to find and located right off the main drag in town. Property manager was very clear on all of the instructions for the check-in, check-out and all other necessary details for our time there. The gated entrance was great! We were moving cross country with a 15' U-Haul and auto-transport trailer and having the comfort of all of our belongings being behind a gate gave us a lot of comfort and allowed us to rest easy for the rest of our trip! House was very clean and had everything we needed for the evening! Amenities were fantastic, especially the hot tub around back, which we used to relax and recharge! We would definitely stay again if we found ourselves back in the area!
