Great little getaway for two moms needing a break from reality. Super clean, cutely decorated property close to hiking trails. The fire pit and hot tub were the perfect addition! Would have been PERFECT if we had WiFi since I didn’t have cell phone reception (Verizon). But I was able to communicate with my family through my friend’s phone (AT&T). Highly recommend and.would definitely stay again!
This was a perfect place for our family to have a short Spring Break trip to unplug and reconnect. The area was quiet as promised, yet conveniently located close to town. The cabin was cozy and we enjoyed playing games and relaxing by the fire pit. A perk of having kids who are early risers was getting to spot some deer munching in the woods on our first morning. Our only disappointment was that we didn’t get to stay longer!

Very nice place
We was there feb 21 and 22nd was very nice place had a few things that was over looked back door handle came off in my hand ...FIXED MY SELF...bathroom door handle was loose also other than that its not that secluded during the winter time was a great stay
Very nice cabin. Appears to need some maintenance though such as porch light, two broken doorknobs and ice removal around the hot tub. Nicely equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and the throw blankets were appreciated.
This was a great cabin to stay in for my birthday weekend getaway. My only issue was that the recliner seemed a little broken when we arrived and there's no wifi and limited cell service. Otherwise great property!
When arriving to the property the directions were a little off. Directions told us it was the 2nd road on the right after the hill, when in reality it was the 1st road on the right after the hill. We passed it several times, since there was not sign with an address or the name of the cabin.
There was not the name of the cabin in the listing, so we didn't really know what we were looking for it would have been nice to have.
The owner was very responsive, and she told us the name, did we find it as we were standing on the front porch. Also, the code to get into the property, you pushed the 4 digit code to get in and it stayed locked, again the owner was very responsive and told us exactly how it worked.
The cleanliness of the place was great! It had a lot of things you needed. The 2 lighter's for the fire place were out, thankfully they had matches to use. It took a minute to fine the rules and check out procedures, which was on the side of the refrigerator, a nice book laying on the table or counter where we could of found it easily would be good. There is NO cable or WIFI available, guess we didn't see it when we booked, our fault, so a better selection of DVD's would have been nice.
Overall, if you want to get off the grid, this place is it!
Thank you for sharing with us.
It was great location cabin weather everything was fantastic. The only thing is the number sign is worn off at the road I had to call the owner for her to explain for us how to get there. I will definitely rent the cabin more times
The property was as described. We had a nice time at the cabin. Plenty of dvds provided and we could get decent phone service as mentioned no Wi-Fi no tv only dvds. The beds appeared newer but not comfortable very very firm. The hot tub water was treated and in good condition however it needs a thorough cleaning quite a bit of lime scale build up. There were two chairs on the deck but none at the fire pit so pack your own if you plan to use. Wood was available for purchase on site $8.00 a bundle. Overall it was a nice place just wished a few of these things were not an issue.
Cabin was very clean, easy to find, and perfect for a weekend getaway. We had such a nice time exploring hocking hills. The cabin was so close to town, the coffee emporium, and also to the hiking trails. The dishes and utensils were better quality than other VRBO we had rented. The hot tub was very nice and we also loved the fire ring. Highly recommend and hope to come back!
We had a nice time in this cabin. Appreciated that the kitchen had oil and basic cookware. Cabin was clean. Enjoyed the patio and hot tub. Close to coffee shop and the trails. There's no wifi so it was nice to unplug.
