Unforgettable Houseboat Stay in Ensenada During the Baja 1000!

Staying on a houseboat in Ensenada during the Baja 1000 was an absolutely unforgettable experience! The location couldn’t have been better – we were right on the water, with stunning views of the marina and the vibrant city lights reflecting off the bay at night.The houseboat itself was charming and well-appointed, offering all the comforts of home while maintaining a unique, nautical feel. Waking up to the gentle sound of the waves & sea lions while enjoying our morning coffee on the deck was a highlight.Being walking distance from the start/stop of the iconic Baja 1000 made the trip even more special. The energy of the city was electric, with race enthusiasts and locals coming together to celebrate. After a day of exploring and watching the incredible off-road action, it was amazing to return to such a peaceful and relaxing retreat and the top deck hot tub or the party deck to keep the fun going!Gerry (the host) is fantastic – responsive, friendly, and full of great local tips - genuinely interested in making our experience the best it could be!If you’re looking for a truly unique way to experience Ensenada, especially during such a dynamic event, I couldn’t recommend the Wild Burro houseboat enough.Can't wait for our next stay!

Perfect for What We Needed!

We were five guys wanting to have a central place to hang and relax during the Newport-Ensenada race weekend, and the houseboat was perfect for us. Very accommodating host. Host was able to get us a slip for our race boat very close to the houseboat. Everything worked out very well, and all members of our crew were happy.

Good time on a boat

We had a great time staying on the boat! It was definitely a different but fun experience! We’ll definitely be staying here again! The location is great to walk around for food and drinks and shopping!

this Unique Destination is an oportunity to stay in Down Town get the feel of Boat life, stay in a floating House Down town Ensenada, watch nearby Cruise ships enter and leave from the dock, sea live all around you, althouh Sea lions and seals seem friendly do not pet them, they are not trained and if you leave your fish out they will eat them, so dont. cast the reels from your bed rooms to cath lunch or dinner.
