This incredible Highlands residence is located in the historic Cherokee Triangle. You will be walking distance to many of the cities most well known restaurants, bars and shops. Foot traffic friendly and easy to get around. Just minutes from all of Louisville's top attractions. Escape it all with us and enjoy some peace and tranquility in our eclectic house.

This newly updated, 5600 sq ft building has two apartments and 2 suites divided between 2 floors. There is one apartment and one suite on the first floor and one apartment and one suite on the 2nd floor. The floor plans mirror each other. This gorgeous space was originally built in 1900 and is located in the historic Cherokee Triangle in the Highlands. This 8 bedroom house is the perfect get away for guests of all different uses. We are world travelers and bring our eclectic finds back home to help our house come to life. We hope that you enjoy it!

This property has a strict policy against noise after 10 PM nightly. It is important to us that we are good neighbors and a compliment to the community.

The Highlands is situated close to 2 interstates with easy access to each. You can get anywhere in the city very quickly. Uber and Lyft are always readily available. Travel time: 10 minutes to downtown, NULU, Germantown, Bellarmine University, YUM Center, University of Louisville, St. Matthews, and Old Louisville. 15 minutes to the Airport, EXPO center, Churchill Downs, Prospect, Norton Commons, and Middletown.

The City has a bike share program called Louvello. Taxis, Uber and Lyft are also readily available throughout the day.

Our kitchens are well-equipped to prepare meals and feature all cookware and dining utensils. Basics, such as salt, pepper, and oil, are often on-site. However, we are not always made aware when the last of these items are used. Please check the space before going to the grocery to ensure you have all items necessary for meal preparation.

Great layout and location

We were in for my daughters wedding and wanted a large house with lots of bathrooms close to the venue and NuLu. This house is awesome with the layout, large backyard and porches. Note that you are separated by outside staircases and the staircases in front definitely need a good sweeping. Other than that, it was great. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Home for a large Family (or friends) gathering

We had a wedding to attend and all wanted to stay together as we don't get to see or spend time with each other often. The house was perfect! There were 4 different apartments, each with their own kitchen and living rooms. Two had One bedroom and Bath each and the other 2 had a two bedroom suite with shared bath and a separate bedroom/bathroom. Perfect for families! We could spend time together as a group but also have some privacy when needed. The house was beautiful and very comfortable and the hosts were always available and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. I would stay there again the next time I am in Louisville!

Good for large groups

If you have 12+ people in your party and want to accommodate everyone in a bed, this place is great. The house is nice, but there were some leftovers from previous guests, couches and pillows were dirty and some stained. It is a very large house but it did not feel maintained, which understandably can be hard for a big rental. Not all fans worked, bar stools were broken, an outdoor hallway window was broken. The area has lots of bars and restaurants around, but it is not the most safe feeling location. There were homeless people in the alley by the house, and it did not feel safe at night where cars are parked. Both gates to access the property were not secure, and could have been opened without a code. The hosts were very nice though and accomodating, the cleaning crew needs some work
