The house has a unique style due to the sloping terrain. Four steps down from the front door to living room. Two steps back up to the master suite and 2nd bedroom. Two more steps up to the 3rd and 4th bedrooms. Not well lit at night. Use the rechargeable lamps as night lights. We could only get one of the air conditioners for the living room to work, but with the ceiling fans, it was enough. (87F/31C every day)The A/C and fans in the bedrooms made it very comfortable to sleep. Bathrooms with each bedroom was greatly appreciated. The 2nd bedroom toilet can be used as powder room. Most of the electrical plugs in the house are Euro style/220 volts. There are some US/110 volt style plugs US visitors should consider converter plugs. No dining room table indoors. The refrigerators are in the pantry two steps up in the laundry room. The pool is the best I have encountered in any of my 7 trips to the Caribbean. Cool and refreshing; great views of the sea and Klein Bonaire. The deck lounges and patio furniture are very comfortable. The pool deck really needs some attention as there are some failing boards. Also, the unstable railing might not prevent a young child from falling over the edge. The snorkeling was challenging: the access ladder must be lowered into the water. The narrow metal rungs are painful with bare feet. Consider sturdy surf shoes and adjustable fins. The variety of fish justify the effort. Hayte is very personable, accommodating and responsive!
