Welcome to Royal Kahana 804. This well appointed studio condo features central air conditioning, California King bed, & dining areas both inside & on the lanai. Lay in bed and admire the ocean, whales, sailboats, & the island of Molokai. You'll truly feel the essence of island time when you're inside this condo. These studios at Royal Kahana come with everything needed for an amazing stay, including essentials. Make your Maui memories at Royal Kahana with Stay Aloha. This oceanfront condo is situated on Kahana Beach and centrally located between the Kaanapali and Kapalua resorts, in the quiet community of Kahana. Our vacation home has spectacular unobstructed views up the coast to Kapalua and Pineapple Hill.

The layout:

Common area: Fully equipped kitchen, dining table for 2 people, Smart TV with cable, California King size bed, dresser, 2 nightstands with usb chargers, TV with cable, ceiling fan, twin sofa sleeper, and sliding lanai door access that leads to private lanai. There is a digital safe for your use and beach gear which consists of beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler.

Bathroom: Features a walk in shower, single sink vanity, fresh towels, and luxury organic bath products courtesy of Stay Aloha.

Lanai: seating for 2 with an ocean view

Stay Aloha provides a generous essentials starter kit. This includes laundry, luxury organic bath, and kitchen essentials. We do not drop extra. There is an Aloha welcome gift for you upon arrival as well.

***There is construction going on at this resort for stucco repair on the building. It does not disrupt any of the amenities like pool, fitness center, lobby, elevators, etc.***

The Royal Kahana has a beachfront swimming pool, beachfront BBQ area, complete on-site fitness room, ping pong table, shuffleboard, and an onsite Activities Center/Concierge. Across the street is Kahana Gateway Center, a small shopping center with restaurants such as the Maui Brewing Company. McDonalds, Whaler's convenience store, a gas station, a coffee shop, souvenir shop, and ATMS are also located in the Center.

Parking:

Please keep in mind that while we do not charge a resort fee as most on Maui are now charging; the resort has implemented a parking fee that is payable upon check-in at the resort. The fee is as follows:

For the first 30 days $18.00 per day plus taxes

Beach information

*The beach fronting the Royal Kahana experiences seasonal ocean current changes that influence the beach’s physical appearance and size. During the fall and winter, it is not uncommon that these currents sweep away a very large amount of sand, which will gradually return back in spring and summer, based on the ocean's current activity. Our HOA, The County of Maui, and the State of Hawaii are working diligently to return Kahana Bay to its full potential.

This circumstance, unfortunately, affects the accessibility of our valued guests to the beach. While there may not be, at times, direct access from the property to the beach during the fall and winter season, there is a public beach access within 5 minutes walking distance. Photos taken on 1/16/2023 show useable beach, but this is not guaranteed.

We do have a $60 Damage Insurance Fee that covers up to $1500 in damage for our guests. Accidents happen and we have you covered.

PEST CONTROL AND ROOSTERS: Due to Maui’s rural location you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them. The HOA schedules regular professional pest control services for pests such as ants, roaches, and rodents however they cannot be completely controlled in this part of the world.

Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents, and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment. Ice maker in the freezer!

The property owners do not budge on the check-in time. Plan accordingly. We had to sit outside the property for 45 minutes because there is ZERO allowance to check in early. There was another couple that had to deal with the same thing. Secondly, parking is NOT included. I searched for a property that had parking, only to be charge 20/day by the site. It’s a small sentence in the “welcome” package that rates may apply. Would have been nice to know that on the front end. Thirdly, the door to the patio was the equivalent of trying to move a small boulder. View was worth it, but know that it’s clearly in need of repair. The room was fine. You’re given only three towels, so we did have to do laundry a couple times. Plenty of laundry pods available. Pool was nice. We used the grill by the pool two of our nights there. No beach. It’s washed away and basically only sand bags.I would suggest moving the bed to the opposite wall so you could actually see the view when you wake up in the morning. Beach towels and chairs available. Bonus that there was an actual ice machine in the freezer!

This was a great unit to stay in! Excellent view and everything clean and fresh. When we had a couple of small glitches when we arrived Stay Aloha fixed them within hours! Will definitely stay again!

We are a family of 4 and stayed here for 4 nights. It’s very good for the price point and given the full kitchenette we were able to cook. Parking is additional and you need to pay for permit.
