We all enjoyed the location of this property. It's a nice log cabin with plenty of room. The location is very quiet, with easy access from the main road. It also has a large fenced yard, which was great for letting the dogs run and play.
Very easy for communicating, booking and getting into the house. Perfect set up. Our dog enjoyed the huge fenced in backyard. It’s a little away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist spots, but we loved being able to return to quiet and nature. Would recommend this for anyone.
This is our second time at this same cabin. It's always such an amazing time here! We love it and love the hospitality! Great time had by all! Thank You!
It was an awesome stay. Clean, perfect location, secluded yet close enough to everything.
Beautiful. Easy check in and check out with excellent instructions for all.
Only thing I can say is a gas grill would have been ideal, but the grill by fire pit was amazing but so far from the house. Other than that amazing and beautiful.
We loved the space and ambiance. Our family enjoyed Christmas together in that setting. My one critique, though, is that the towels and washcloths could use an upgrade.
The cabin was beautiful and overall great! Could use some updates on the outside especially. Also we had 3 smokers but no where to put cigarettes like stated on the instructions, which is minor and easy to solve thankfully. The thermostat was extremely hard to figure out, the temp kept changing itself to 50 and 60 in the middle of the night freezing us all out.
The house was large and the fenced yard was nice. It was extremely clean, you would have never known it was a pet friendly cabin. The view from the deck was beautiful. The house is closer to 25 minutes from Dollywood instead of the 15 advertised. Air on the main level worked well but unit in main level master was quite loud and woke the baby up. The air on the basement level did not cool well. Owner was responsive and said it would be addressed. Beds were very firm and could use different mattress pad covers as they were crinkly when you moved. There are two futons but no sheets were available for them.
Cabin was nice, but apparently we picked the worst week to stay here.
Upon entering the cabin, it was infested with yellow looking lady bugs ( beetle bugs I'm told ) and stink bugs ! After contacting mgt, that same night we arrived, she did have a pest control come spray , but that really didn't help much, as they were EVERYWHERE ! Both dead and alive !
My family refused to sleep up stairs, as they were crawling all over the walls, floors & ceilings in the upstairs bedroom ! So we closed the door to that bedroom, and didn't even use it the entire week we were there. They were actually flying on us, it was horrible. ( I even had one crawl on me while sleeping ) They were on our clothes that were hanging in closet. It was awful.
Not sure what the solution is to this problem, but never in 30 yrs have we experienced anything like this while renting a cabin. ( And we've rented over 20 cabins in the Smoky mts over the years )
Had I not paid so much, we definitely would of relocated !
I will say, mgt was quick to respond to any issues & went above to try and solve our issues.

A week with the in-laws
I would say the cabin was tidy, but not necessarily clean.
Substantial amount of dust and dander, accumulated on floors and surfaces. Also quite apparent that no dusting was done prior to our visit via cobwebs in low ceiling area in TV area.
All outdoor wooden surfaces in need of sanding and refinishing. Walking barefoot was not advisable due to wooden paint chipping.
Both porch swings also in need of sanding could not sit comfortably.
Hot tub extremely small. DEFINITELY NOT a six person capacity. Very shallow floor.
Shower curtain in bathroom on second level not wide enough for opening.
Smaller gated side yard and front door porch area was Very overgrown with tall grasses not ideal for small/ low to the ground dogs but having a fenced in area is very nice.
Gravel road to the house was decently marked. Definitely need gravel Filled in in areas on roadway.
The cabin was clearly not prepped for a party of eight for a seven day trip, there was no dusting, no vacuuming, no cleaning of any windows. There was no brushing with a broom on the back deck, and no trimming of grass in immediate walking area.
BBQ grill HUGE disappointment. I’ve seen better grills at a public park. Was not able to use all week!
