This was a very rustic, relaxed and campy setting. The Hosts were terrific!!!! Super dog friendly!!! Very convenient location. Nice amenities, like the swimming pond, walking trails, outside community fun space, WiFi... Loved all the instruments. It could have been little bit cleaner for my liking, but admittedly I'm pretty fussy and the atmosphere is very rustic.

Super cute cabin! I was so pleased to find out that the cabin was even cuter than in the pics. I trunk that 3 people could sleep in it with relative comfort. The layout was great - though it might not be great for older people, the stairs are large and twisty. It's about a 14-18 minute drive from the (very cute) center of Glen Falls. The bed was super comfy and I appreciated having air conditioning! I had a very pleasant time and wouldn't hesitate to book it again.

Beautiful, chill and eclectic

My husband, daughter, dog and I stayed at Pete's property for the Adirondack Balloon Festival and had a great time! The whole family, including Belle the dog, were super friendly and welcoming, chatting with us, showing us around the property and even hand delivered a half dozen fresh eggs from their chickens! The property is super fun-landing somewhere between a small farm and nature compound kind of feel. We were only there a couple days and spent the majority of the time out and about because of the festival, but the time we were there, there was so much to explore if we wanted to. Our dog absolutely loved the property and the other dog and happily "helped" dig some irrigation ditches in a couple low spots 😜 Not a negative, just a comment as I didn't realize it myself from the booking, the stairs to the loft are open and twisting so you definitely need to have no hindered movement to access the loft. The water is hard and heavy is sulfur so bathing and washing dishes will leave you contemplating if you still want to ever eat eggs again but the hosts provided a full 5 gallon water bubbler for cooking and drinking. Overall the place is fun and we've already planned on staying here next time we go to the festival!

Sorry guys. This is a fire hazard. I may even report to County for zoning violations.

Arrived ok. Host sent us the door lock code. 1st thing I noticed was 2 outlets at kitchen bar did not work. When tried to go to bed the spiral staircase is really sketchy. Then you have to step up on a dresser to get into a bed. I went down and slept on the futon because I was afraid of falling if I had to use the downstairs bathroom in the dark in the middle of the night. Then in the morning we realized there isn't a coffee maker, just a couple of percolators that don't have all the pieces. Then I notice the A/C - heat pump was plugged in to the wall on the opposite side of the kitchen bar through a hole which had been drilled through the wall. The only reason this could possibly be is the owner knew the plugs didn't work. Then I happened to look up and see all of the extension cord spaghetti going through the ceiling. That was the last straw. I told the wife we were leaving and why. She agreed and we lived to get back to Florida a few days later. Oh and forgot to mention that I have an open sore from a surgery a week or two ago. After wife got out of shower she smelled worse than when she got in. I was afraid to take one due to that. They do have a RO system for drinking water, but that isn't enough. I did not communicate my concerns with the owner as there was no point. There was nothing that could have been done to improve our stay in the couple of days we had to spend.

I am an experienced real estate agent/investor in Upstate NY and I love to travel with my wife, son & dog Bell! We are big fans of VRBO as we are tired of staying in hotels and conforming to the norm. We love to garden on our property and hike the local Adirondack mountains!

Why they chose this property

This property offers so much to so many walks of life. By proximity it is only 30 mins to the world famous Saratoga Springs, known for its amazing cuisine, shopping and the oldest horse race track in the entire country. It is also only 30 mins to breathtaking Lake George which was rated the #1 Lake in America. If you have never been it is an absolute must! Perhaps you just want a quiet getaway, well that is fine too as we have several cabins and tiny homes on our property for you and a loved one to book. Maybe you want to invite the whole family and rent multiple dwellings at the same time while enjoying the 80 Acres of fields, forests and ponds. We are also available as an event site for small gatherings or large weddings, we can do it all! No matter what you are looking for, spring, summer, fall or winter there is something exciting for you to do on the property or nearby. We hope you come stay with us and enjoy the property as much as we do!

What makes this property unique

Annual gardens on the property for guests. Perennial gardens tours available. 80 Acres of land to explore year round. Fields for X-Country Skiing or snowshoeing. Property might be perfect for your event or wedding.
