Not the best, but ok

The check in was good but the property was lacking... When we first arrived, the front step into the house was very wobbly and the railing was not attached. The screen door also did not close properly. The microwave and the toaster oven were both dirty with food in them there was someone's socks in the dryer there was food in the sink drain. The towel bars were broken off of the walls in two of the bathrooms and sitting on the floor behind the door also the property manager notified us that one of the couch legs was broken which it in fact was, so we had to put bricks under it so that we could sit on the one love seat. The other couch had a burn hole in it from a cigarette. The house was conveniently located where we needed it to be so that was a plus but the overall cleanliness was not what we expected for the price that we paid . There were cobwebs in several areas of the house and there were minor things that needed to be repaired, such as broken slats on window blinds and the third step coming down from the back steps was very loose. Also, the floor near the kitchen sink was cracked and sinking when you stepped on it. The beds were pretty comfortable and there were plenty of towels and other amenities so that was good I just feel like some of those minor things that were overlooked could have been a little better. .. repairs . dishloose

Spacious old row home

The place was large and bathrooms were mostly clean. Overall the place is pretty dusty, with a thick dust layer on the ceiling fans that unfortunately spread some smelly stuff whenever they're on and shaggy carpets. If those could be cleaned and the towel racks repaired this would've been almost perfect. Parking is out in front. Owner was generous with drinks provided.

Great house for large group or family.

Great stay with multiple bedrooms and plenty of baths perfect for family or large group. Plenty of communication with the property manager. Very spacious. Parking was easy outside the building. Seems to be a block from a school police station as in an transitional but central and artsy neighborhood. We had no safety concerns. Very near to most typical Baltimore tourist locations. Came as described. Would stay again.

Could be better with a few easy changes

This property served its purpose but we could have had a much better experience with a few easy changes. When we arrived we were pleased to find free street parking right in front. Upon entering, the entire downstairs smelled of gas. We found that the gas stove knob was on. The listing stated there was a hot tub and smoke detectors but those were not there- when we contacted the host about this we did not get a reply. We had to go out and buy smoke detectors. The host has since taken hot tub off the listing. The kitchen was decent size and we appreciated the kurig and kcups. There was a small window above the back door in the kitchen that was boarded up which left the place feeling run down. The bedrooms were all on the 2nd and 3rd floors and were spacious and plenty (lots of stairs which would be good to mention in the listing for those who have a hard time). There was only one towel/washcloth per bedroom- so 5 total. For a property that sleeps 10 people, 5 towels is not enough. The beds were very comfy but did not have all the bedding on them. One room only had a sheet, another only a comforter, etc. When I contacted the host about the towels and bedding, we were told to rummage through a hamper to find the missing items. The hamper had rolled up bedding/towels in it that looked dirty. The closets could use bars to hang clothes on. The front facing rooms had a lot of road noise. The bathrooms had shampoo/conditioner and body wash which was nice.

A really nice home away from home.

I really liked this location and ease of parking, access and number of beds available at the property. It was really quiet and so I slept solidly while I was there. I also appreciated the property manager reaching out to me on issues and confirming departure times.

Good location with car or even if you would uber

Decent clean place. Comfortable beds. Parking right out front, not a problem. Stayed mid February 3days, comfortable house temperature, though close to police station, no sirens going off all the time. Lots of kerig coffee choices, for all tastes. Also, good tasting tap water! No need to buy it bottled, nice! Did not do a lot of walking around this neighborhood or really anywhere, in town to look at apartments.

Spacious house in Baltimore

This house was exactly what we needed for our stay. The host was extremely communicative which made our stay that much better. A previous review talked about the AC issues but that was definitely fixed for our stay (mid-August which was 90+ while we were there) and we had no issues with the temperature. I definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a place in Baltimore!

Perfect location

Our family enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect for us to go to see my Grandson's band at Union Brewery. Our host was very helpful when we had questions.

Great property for 3 season stays

This was a lovely home near to Baltimore and John’s Hopkins (which we were visiting) the value was fantastic and parking was easy and always available. The property manager was incredibly communicative. Unfortunately, the central AC simply could not keep up with the summer heat and despite service to the unit twice during our stay, the temperature in the coolest room of the house never dropped below 82. Two of the bedrooms additionally had in-window units which made the rooms pleasant, but the other bedrooms did not and were unbearably hot at night. The property manager really tried to address the issue with the multiple visits from the HVAC tech. In summary, if you are only using two bedrooms or visiting during cooler months, I highly recommend this lovely property!

Weekend getaway

We were in town for a 3-day show and eloped the first night of the show. We stayed at the house with family and friends. The house was clean and quiet. Parked right out front. If we have another show in Baltimore, we will definitely book again!
