We got married last week and are closing on a house so we just wanted a low key weekend honeymoon till we have time to go away. This was perfect. Clean, well stocked, quiet, and private. The ONLY thing I would change is leave the firewood under the porch roof, we can carry it to the firepit, but it was already soaked by the time we got there and couldn’t have a fire, because even the local wood for sale was soaked
Took my wife and kid here. Cabin is beautiful and has a classic cabin feel. The location is great, just a short drive to Old Mans Cave, Ash Cave, etc...Hot tub was great. Overall a great stay, 5/5 recommend
Avoid This Cabin – Major Disappointments and Poor Communication
I had high hopes for this cabin getaway, but it turned out to be a frustrating experience. From the moment I arrived, it seemed like one issue after another.
First, the bed mattress was incredibly stiff and unstable, making it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep. Every time I moved, it felt like I was on a seesaw. Not exactly the cozy retreat I was expecting.
The bathroom was another disaster. The toilet tank overflowed after each flush, leaving me to clean up a soggy mess. To make matters worse, the hot water was completely unusable as it reeked of rotten eggs. This issue could have been easily fixed with proper maintenance, but it clearly hadn't been addressed.
Small details mattered too, and the broken soap dispenser was another annoyance. It’s a simple fix, yet it made the cabin feel neglected.
The fireplace didn’t work at all, which was a huge letdown. A big reason I chose this cabin was for the advertised "cozy" gas fireplace. Instead, I was left with a useless, cold corner-piece in the living room.
The worst part, though, was the lack of communication. The owner sent an inaccessible.pdf with the pin code, and they didn’t respond to my requests for help until late on check-in day.
Overall, this stay was a far cry from the relaxing retreat I’d envisioned. The lack of maintenance and basic functionality turned what should have been a charming experience into a disappointing one. I wouldn’t recommend this cabin to anyone unless major improvements are made.
Cozy, secluded cabin. Had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect!
Only down side....bedrooms could use a deep cleaning. Not dirty, but need a good freshen up.
Overall great stay!
We had a lovely weekend in the forest staying in this cabin. It was very cute and quaint. Cabin was just as showed in the photos. It was very clean and neat. Water tasted great and we always had good pressure and hot water. The hot tub was awesome. We saw no mice. There were several maintenance issues that needed attention. The queen bed was very hard and very unstable. The fireplace would not remain lit, it kept turning itself off.
The toilet was leaking and it rocked greatly as it was very unstable on the floor.
I was only able to stay 1 night as my house in Columbus OH was broken into and they did significant damage and stole alot of property. I notified the property owner as soon as I found out Friday evening and left early Saturday morning.
Under the circumstances a refund for 1 day would be greatly appreciated.
Great location, private, quiet. We used it as a place to sleep and a base to head out to the trails. It was beary cozy, warm and dry. Would rent it again.
Lovely, secluded but yet still in range of all the trails, caves. They do need to address the toilet, it is leaking and not stationary. The ceiling fan also needs cleaned as it is fuzzy. But otherwise it is a great location and they have trails, and a waterfall right on property! Just needs TLC❤️

Great place to get away. Cute and clean. Would definitely book here again . ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This cabin was beautiful. Very nicely decorated, with a hot tub and grill. Also had a fire pit. Due to ban on burning could not use fire pit but everything else was great. No traffic at all on this road. I'd stay again but probably for a week instead of 2 days.
Great stay at Pineview Cabin for weekend. Pictures are an exact depiction of the cabin.
Trails are 10-15 min drive from cabin. Hot tub was great after day of walking.
We did not need to communicate with the property manager nor did we use any of the kitchen amenities.
Would definitely recommend this property to others.
Very quaint, private, cabin
Clean and well maintained
Close to everything but nestled in the woods
Everything we needed was already there
Had a great stay
Will be back!
