Close to Zion

Loved this place. Most comfortable bed, shower was awesome. The bakery breakfast, so good. Fresh eggs every day. Friendly cat joined us on our morning walks. We would site see during the day and come back to the hot tub and sit on the porch. Amazing stay.

We had a great stay here at the end of May, we drove to Zion for 2 days and then Bryce, all beautiful drives. You get to miss the chaos of Springfield! The grab and go breakfast was fantastic, we had breakfast burritos, quiche, very delicious and filling. We used the pool and hot tub every night and enjoyed visiting the farm animals. Highly recommend!

Private Cottage on the Farm - Highly Recommended

This was very similar to the description on-line and the pool was clean and great! Breakfast was perfect. The owners are available and personable. They allowed us to walk around and see the cows, chickens and goats. This cottage had a tiny kitchen, large bathroom, sofa and bedroom that were conveniently arranged with lots of hooks and places to put clothes away - out of sight. Wish we could have stayed for a week.

Unique stay with lots to do

The stay at this in Mount Carmel Junction location was quirky and well accommodated. Breakfast was delicious and the perfect fuel for outdoor adventures. We stayed in the garden room, which would be a good spot for some for someone who needed an accessible room. We initially booked the spot to visit in Zion, but we found lots to do in Kalab. There are lots of rules to follow and being a working farm, I’m not sure this would be the best place to bring kids. The guide books provided by this place were very useful. Check out Coral Pink Sands and Best Friends for extra fun on a Zion adventure. Great location with lots to do, I would go back.

Howdy!
We've been the owners of Arrowhead Country Inn and Cabins for over 27 years now. Enjoy our family-run cabins in the heart of the parks of Southern Utah!

Many many years ago...Arrowhead Country Inn and Cabins started as only a house with an awesome view of the White Cliffs (Elkhart Mountains).

We knew the first time we saw it that this was going to be the place we spent the rest of our lives. The house itself was turned into a bed and breakfast at first and then we started the long process of turning our new 14 acres next to a neat flowing creek (North Fork of the Virgin River) into our dream of cabin rentals and a farm.

Our son was a general contractor (and a pro rodeo cowboy, and hunting guide and and taxidermist). He helped build many of the cabins and our gorgeous gift shop room where you can pick up your to-go breakfast.

Our youngest daughter designed and built our lily pad and gold fish pond and worked with us for many wonderful years (now a professional chef and lawyer).

Now our oldest daughter is working with us on advertising and management. This property enabled us to involve the family and we often put grand kids to work here too:)

In addition to all those great things Jim's ancestry is from the area.
His father grew up in Rockville (other side of Zion). Jim's father and his family had no running water and were some of the last people in the USA to use wagons for transportation. There are countless stories of the "old days" that Jim likes to recount to his family that he heard from his Dad. Jim's father helped build the famous Zion Tunnel and the Hoover Dam in Nevada.

The authenticity of our property is real. We live here, work here and really enjoy sharing it with others that can appreciate its uniqueness.

Why they chose this property

What a neighborhood! Oh my! Our back yard is the wilderness of the Grand Escalante National Monument. Our neighborhood is in-between 3 National Parks. We are grateful to be a part of this vast and magnificent landscape.

What makes this property unique

An experience, not just a place to stay
