Absolutely awesome house. And location. Everyone associated with the stay was attentive and thoughtful. We will be returning!! Thank you Bob, Madison and Sherry.
Perfect place to stay in Lakeland. Very comfortable home. Walk to downtown, Florida Southern College or neighboring lakes. Super responsive support. Highly recommend.
This is a unique experience.
Our stay was very good, cut short of all things by Hurricane Milton.
This home is exactly what it says, a historic home and a trip back in time, At the same time, there's everything you need, with comftorble beds and nice rooms and a good kitchen and breakfast room.
Bob was easy to reach and very accommodating in every respect. He was very understanding and proactive when it came to our needs when the storm was approaching.
I would recommend this unique home without hesitation.
Fantastic homely house with charming historic character and decor in a perfect quiet location
We had a lovely time in Uncle Ed's historic bungalow with graduation at FSC, barbecue evenings at the house and daytrips to St Petersburg, St Petes Beach and Clearwater Beach.
The house is so cozy and homely with a great garden and backyard to hang out in. The location was perfect for us, close to FSC and downtown.
The communication with the owner was easy and great. Thank you for hosting us!
We really enjoyed the house and our stay in Lakeland!!
Here's a charming, bright and subtly quirky 100+year-old home. Located near Lakes Morton, Mirror & Wire, it has a complete and very usable kitchen, three bedrooms (queen, twin, two singles) and two baths. Lots of sitting/lounging space, too. It's a ten minute walk to Lakeland's wonderful restaurants and 20 minutes for coffee @ Concord, our local fav. A superb place to stay for one/two couples or a small family. Highly recommend; we'll be back.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. Look no further than this beautiful home with space for a group of friends comfortably when booking your next stay in Lakeland. Would absolutely stay again!
We had a great stay. The home had everything we and our pets needed and they accommodated our special requests before we arrived. The communication with the Owner was excellent. We plan to rent again next year for St Patrick’s Day and VW show in Lakeland. Location was close to everything on a quiet street.
Absolutely perfect place! So comfortable and adorable. Pictures are spot on snd the house is just perfect. We drove downtown and went to the Farmers Market and dinner at the Terrace. Wonderful stay and was so comfortable!! And the messages from the owners were the nicest I have ever received on any VRBO!!
I so loved my stay at the bungalow. It is evident that this is a well cared for property. The home was so clean and everything was absolutely lovely. Would certainly book again.
We really enjoyed our stay at Uncle Ed's! It was just the two of us and our dog. The few questions I had were promptly answered and the house itself is so comfortable. It is very dog friendly with a fenced in yard, dog treats, dog bowls, and covers on both couches so our fur baby could even sit next to us when we were relaxing.
I loved all of the decor. It featured both items from Lakeland and items about Uncle Ed and some of his favorite activities. All of the downstairs rooms had ceiling fans which we really like (we didn't use the upstairs since there were just 2 of us). I highly recommend this property. We will definitely stay there again if we are ever back in Lakeland.
This is one of the most comfortable and attractive homes I’ve ever rented. Felt like a real home, not a sanitized fixer- upper that an investor bought. Great neighborhood near downtown. Meticulous attention to seating, plenty of space for family visiting, and good, safe yard for my dog. This house makes me wish I had more things to do in Lakeland!
The house was so warm and comfortable, decorated with fun themes that made me feel like a staying at my grandma’s house with a strong sense of modern southern charm. We really enjoyed the house and stay! Great communication, great space, great time!
